Poor Joe Gibbs

I listened to his explanation on the subject today on moving the chains. He said he asked one of the officials and was told it was ok to do.
I can only imagine how bad he wanted to win that game. With every thing he has had to deal with this week and knowing what he had to deal with today, I can certainly understand how the mistake was made.

Not to mention it took us sixty minutes to beat those same Bills.

And 58 minutes to beat those Commanders.

The kicker made the 51 yarder anyway, so even if Gibbs hadn't called the infamous 2nd time-out, Washington still would have lost.

Gibbs just had to add a bone-headed decision for extra emphasis!

I agree with this.

It seems like Gibbs' gaffe has gotten a lot of comment in the press, but I don't think the mistake lost the game for the Commanders....
