Well if we win out and Minnesota loses out we would be 9-3 in the NFC and Minnesota would be 8-4 so we would have the tie breaker over them. Not sure about Arizona though as right now we're both 9-5 and 7-3 in the conference. Then that tie breaker would be common games I believe.

We would need Arizona to lose one also. Not all that unlikely though because they finish with the Packers.

Arizona, Philly, Dallas are all alive for the #2 seed. Extreme longshots thought.

I believe you are correct unless Arizona lost one then they would get the tie breaker over us and they would get the 2 spot

Another little tidbit. Carolina certainly didn't lay down tonight. Hope they play the Giants as tough next weekend as they did Minnesota tonight. Carolina can run the ball and the Giants have trouble stopping it. I'm just saying.

Yeah you're right! I went to the Yahoo generator and it shows that if we tied with Arizona they would get the higher seed!

Minny is 2-2 outdoors going into Chicago next week.

A loss there could throw the entire NFC playoff possibilities into a frenzy

That is because they have a QB that can throw; not playing Moore earlier in the year and sticking with Jake so long just makes Fox like a bigger idiot than he has been all year by staying with Jake when it was clear as day he was done.

It seems to be a trait of defensive minded head coaches. They are usually very conservative and don't like to make changes.

If we win out....

Minny loses out
Arizona loses 1 game

We are the #2 seed

Simple as that

I just dont see Minny losing 3 games in a row. I know they got their arse handed to them last night, but I think Carolina was making that game "their superbowl". Plus Minny clinched the division with the Packers losing, so I think Minny probably eased up a little.

I just dont see Chicago beating Minny, not with freakin Cutler at QB.
