Do we draft based on popularity or actual needs? We picked Lamb and Diggs, both highly popular players. Lamb was needed for Dak; I understand that. Yes, we need a legit CB, but the 2nd pick should have been DL or OL. Most of the quality linemen are in the first 2 rounds. You can't ever have enough quality linemen; especially when you have to have a rotation of DL throughout the game.

Both are popular because they’re blue chip prospects that play skill positions for big time schools! I’d much much much much rather have Lamb & Diggs over Reagor & Hurts lmao!!

We needed CB too, and position is not a stand alone factor. Talent level still has a place.

Yes we need defensive linemen but thats why we bought in Poe and McCoy neither are long term 7 year starters but they are excellent for 2-3 years and we can get a stud in the draft next season at DE

dont get me wrong i want a dline but when CeeDee Lamb and trevon diggs fall in your lap you dont brush it off
