The current way the CBA is set up allows players to fake these injuries when under contract and looking for extensions. I can not imagine the NFL owners arent sitting back and not liking what they are seeing. I would get something in the next cba that says something about if a player that was "Injured," and missed the first 2 games and then is traded, they have tosit out 2 games with their new team.


Obviously, Ive not thought this completely through, but something has to be done. They tried to address it with forcing fined players to actually pay the fines and not allowing the teams to wave those fines. Now players just show up and fake injuries to avoid fines. The owners cant just let this to continue.
