Porter is being very transparent with his comments. He compliments Barber, who is the second-string running back, and remains silent about Julius Jones, the first-string running back. He's doing it to get inside Jones' head, not Barber's. His attempt was probably unnecessary considering how Jones has been running robotically lately (that one was for Rack), but I doubt that he suddenly forgotten about Jones either.

He also made some unflattering remarks on Romo.
