"The world forgot about me this year. I have to make it work this year or I'll be out of here and probably be doing these same interviews somewhere else," Portis said.

My prediction for the Skins is another sub-.500 season, where Gibbs resigns at the end of the season, and the team begins a re-build that will not include Portis.

I think he will be here as long as Gibbs is, which should be for at least one more year. After Gibbs leaves we will see. Personally I think Portis will make believers of all again. Just gotta hope he stays healthy. (Fingers Crossed)

He may have been joking, but the Commanders won't be if he has a mediocre season or gets hurt again.

The writing is on the wall for Portis. His body seems to be breaking down already.

The Commanders re-signed Betts for a reason and if Portis doesn't bounce back, they'll bounce him.

This is something to keep an eye on, IMO the Commanders with Cambell being a mystery could have a terrible year.

If Camble proves to be a bust, they could really go in the tank and be in competition with Cle. (us), Oakland etc. for the top five picks which could very well be used on either Mcfadden or Slaton.

Chances are the Skins will be closer to 8-8, but a scenario wher they fall apart is feasable.

I guarantee one thing, if the Skins somehow end up with the worst record in the league, there is no way in hell that Danny boy trades us the pick we need to get Mcfadden, no matter what we offer.

Then again they'll probably be more interestred in Brohm if Camble sucks.

Ledell Betts should be your starter-he didn't have all those 100+ yard games for nothing last season.

IMHO-he's every bit the power running Portis desires to be.
