Portis and B Mitch are going at it on sports talk 980..........wow

For those of you that dont know B Mitch is a Commander fan, but he is a realist about them. Portis and him are going at it on the radio now..........here is a tell tale sign of Portis and other over paid skins attitude.

Portis "my pockets are straight, my pockets are straight"

WOW Portis referring to himself in third person, calling B Mitch a hater and getting very verbal.

B Mitch told him we can talk football or we can take it there .....LOL

They just said they'll have it online soon.

What stuck out in my mind was when Portis said "my pockets are ok, my pockets are or stay phat"

Now me being a 38 year old, that looks in my early 20's, with my hip hop loving, video game playing self that I am, take that to mean he cares more about his wallet then his winning.

Portis sounded like an immature little thug.

Like you wouldn't be singing his praises if he was a Cowboy...and this goes back to 2004, when Mitchell called out Portis for not having heart. Which we know is flat out untrue.

Come on Sonny, I really doubt it. Portis called the radio station to confront a commentator who's job it is to commentate and critique the football team. At the very begining of the interview Portis several times yelled "PORTIS POCKETS ARE STRAIGHT" as well as challenging B Mitch with bodily hard. You my friend can fool yourself all you want, but Synder has created a culture in DC were respect and status depends on your WALLET AND BANK ACCOUNT NOT WHAT U WIN OR HOW OFTEN U WIN.

If a Cowboy player had called and talked like that to a member of the media you deadskins would be living it up.

So let me ask you this: Are you saying Portis doesn't want to win?

First of all I am not saying Portis does not want to win, what I am saying is that if he is here in the DC area, throwing all the parties that "THREE KINGS PRODUCTION OR EVENTS" hold. If he is on all these Eastern Motor Commericials, up in the club every weekend, then he should be able to accept a critiq from a former running back who is now part of the media. Especially after the way Portis threw oline and other people under the bus, especially if Portis can come out and say "he would like to play behind another offensive line for one day" He should be able to take the critisism.

I AM GOING TO REPEAT THIS FOR YOU SONNY

As a 38 year old black male from Camden, NJ, that looks in my early 20's, that listens to alot of rap and rock, that plays lots of video games and love reality TV.

When I hear a brother get on the radio station to argue with another brother that is paid to critique the team and that has given alot to that team. When that player say things early on like "Portis pockets are straight" or that he wanted to hit that reporter when he seen him. To me and many other brothers and people that understand slang and the street mentality Portis came off as a over paid thug who care more about his POCKETS BEING PHAT AND STRAIGHT AND HITTING A REPORTER then being a professional.

Nuff said....or maybe not.

If that's such a negative -- couldn't the same be said for Romo? He's jetting off to Cabo before the Giants game last year, the celebrity golf tournaments, celebrity girlfriend etc.?

For the record, I cringed at that article. If I were his linemen, esp. guys like Chris Samules and Randy Thomas, I'd have a word or two with him. However, given the contentious relationship with the Commanders and Washington Post, it would not surprise me at all if the Post did a bit of Good Morning Vietnam Style editing on what he said...

As far as Mitchell is concerned, he is probably very popular with Cowboys fans. There are few who are more harshly critical of the Commanders then Mitchell. You probably love him and think he's right all the time.

WOW THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD BUT MODS IF I STEP OUTTA LINE FEEL FREE TO SMACK MY HANDS.

Its a huge negative. Very Huge.........how many white dudes in the NFL or NBA are getting robbed and or shot at clubs. Romo going to Cabo, or participating in a golf torny.......is totaly different then the Booty Shakin, champagne popping parties thrown by Portis, Moss and other skins.
I dont know your race, background or anything about you, but I feel, naw bump that I know that when it comes to what Portis said out his mouth and the general attitude of professional atheletes in the DC that what I said was right.

From my perspective Portis came off on the radio as an ignorant, wanna be thug, all that was left for him to say is "I MAKE IT RAIN", because u do know he did or still does have STRIPPER POLE IN HIS HOUSE.

If you havent walked in my shoes, been were i been, grew up were i grew up then you probably would not understand and comprehend what i have seen or heard from Portis. I see in Portis another immature brother that is worshipped because of his money not his work ethic, that has alot of "yes men" around him.

Also my friend we live in different times, and everyone should just get the hell over it........THE SKY IS BLUE, WATER IS WET AND THE MEDIA IS THE MEDIA THATS THEIR JOB. When it comes to Mitchell.......yeah i like him, but i can also name a bunch of Commanders I like also. I respect Mitchell as my elder for one, as a warrior that played this game with lots of passion and heart. I respect that he loves the Skins passionatly enough to tell it like it is and say what he is feeling.

Where did this race issue come from? I couldn't care less about race.

My issue was you stated Portis didn't care about winning. That's blatantly false. On the field, Portis plays the game with heart, with passion, he sacrifices his body to do the little things -- like laying out Kiwanuka in pass protection. I could care less about what he does off the field, unless it's illegal.

As far as I know he does. Again -- until it becomes an issue I don't care.

Oh? Do you have anything actual to back that up, or are you just throwing **** against the wall and hope it sticks and judging him off a few articles and radio interviews. Portis is a hell of a football player -- that's all I really care about. He's never been in any kind of legal trouble that I know of, so quit treating him like he's Pacman Jones.

No, he doesn't. He's been bitter and antagonistic ever since Snyder released him 7 years ago (in favor of Peon Sanders -- a move I still decry!)

If you cannt see it then you are blind. I have been known and will continually speak my mind and my heart when I see another brother making it big, but still continue the same nuances that keep so many of my black, hispanic and caucasion people poor and ignorant. I wanted so bad to call B Mitch and ask him to ask Portis was his childrens, childrens pockets straight. If you dont know what i mean then I mean has Portis took all that money to make sure future generations of Portis's never suffer in poverty or have a chance too go to college with out a grant or loan.

Also I know Portis wants to win, but what he portrays in clubs, and at the lil parties at MD university and on air is that of a wanna be RAP STAR. Oh yeah he laid out Kiwanuka...yeah he did it while Kiwanuka was being blocked and also he should have just chipped him and tried to get open, because on that play you guys threw under the 1st down marker like normal. When I was 15 years old, I weighed 120lbs, I knocked out a dude that was 18 and weighed like 180, only after my 250 cousin double him over with a blow to the gut........nuff said.

Let me just say this, I have some first had knowledge. Not only am I Subcontract Administrator by day. My wife and I run a small adult entertainment company we started like 2 years ago. We own and operate about 6 adult sites, but before that we were a very good contact to get strippers, dancers and other adult performers for peoples parties. I cannt say who or when, but trust me when I tell you I have sent people to parties that were hosted by skins, We have been contacted by friends of friends of skins that were throwing parties. Also since we started this business my wife and I go out to a club ONCE a month EITHER FRIDAY OR SATURDAY..........for some strange reason what ever day we pick to go out that month we run into a bunch of skins at the club

Also like most skins fans you seem alittle hypocritcal. Were you a Taylor fan?, did you consider him wrong for his past transgression?, Were you happy when he turned his life around?

No, he doesn't. He's been bitter and antagonistic ever since Snyder released him 7 years ago (in favor of Peon Sanders -- a move I still decry!)

He is still a paid member of the media to do a job, his job is to analize and critque, but when he does he has some hot head ready to PUNCH OR HIT HIM because of that.

Finally when Portis came here he said himself that everyone knew Washington was the place to come to get paid. He even said other Miami U players were calling him so that they could come to the Skins and get a good deal. Players around the league know Washington does not have a good Front Office and if they want a nice payday then Washington is the place to be.
