Now this organization has never shown to be particularly forward thinking but I d rather grab a LT when one gets dropped in my lap then when I really need one. How often have we seen teams try to do this only to see the player they want snatched away. I can remember us wanting Unger the OC from Oregon. We traded down thinking he would be there....the Saints drafted him ahead of us. We wound up with the LB Williams (who got cut in TC).

If you like a player you take him.

I love Surtain’ s experience, coaching, and pedigree. However, I do like Farley a lot too.

Ultimately, I’d like either but I might want Nixon by draft night.

There's very little drop off in defensive talent in round 2. Get your future all pro TE and get your defense in the other rounds.
