It seems as though we have drafted a lot of guys with position flex, or with special skills like wrs and cbs with return abilities.

It seems as though many of these guys are like Swiss Army knives, they can do a little bit of everything but aren't very good at anything. In other cases we draft guys in part based on their special skills and never allow them to use those special skills.

Which wrs and corners with return abilities have we drafted recently?

Dez was drafted to be the man at wr. Return skills second. It worked well until he started getting hurt.

He hasn't been returning any special teams balls which was part of the reason we drafted him. He isn't really all that awesome at WR anymore either.

Let's hope he can pick up where he left off in the GB playoff game. That's the best I've seen him play in years. Otherwise, I'd have to agree with you.....

We drafted him to be a #1 WR pure and simple. If your drafting a #1 WR with the intent on also having them return kicks, you arent going to be a GM very long

Looks like this is about to be a Dez sucks & is overpaid thread...Cowboy fans...smh...

We have too many of these on the DL...play inside, play outside...I just want to see plays.
As my dad use to say....jack of all trades, but master at none....
Well, it's time they get some masters, and keep them at one positions.

Or those comments could have been ignored versus getting hypersensitive and commenting about them thus creating the very thing that prompts your head shaking.

This was my main thought going into the original thread. It also wouldn't hurt to have a mammoth run stuffer/pocket collapsed at the 1tech to create mismaches and vary our approach a little during game season.

That didnt take long. Down the stretch when he finally got healthy he sure looked like himself again. Especially against GB. But hey, what do i know. If i listened to people here Dez isnt even a top 10 WR in the NFL, and is overpaid, and doesnt work hard, etc....
