Everybody on here haves their own opinion on how certain positions will fare out this season. I believe that it would fair out like this::

Starters* (2)

Terrell Owens - I know there is no doubt about T.O. being the starter, the question is will he be able to catch the main catches that we need to help us win games this season now that his finger isn't a excuse anymore. Another question you might want to ask yourselves as critics and fans is will he keep hisself calm?

Terry Glenn - Terry Glenn is a clear starter and hopes he does what he's been doing for that last two years and that is being productive, durable, and dependable in tough situations.

Rest Of The Group (4)

Patrick Crayton - Really not guranteed the third spot but he's the favor because of his experience, catching ability, and his big play ability.

Sam Hurd - This guy is an secret weapon and I believe he would have the opportunity this year to contribute alot more than he did last year. I think if anybody can take over the third receiver spot I believe Hurd could.

Miles Austin - Showed he could be a great kick-returner, it's now time to see what he really has to step up and show he can contribute to the offensive side of the ball.

Jamaica Rector - I think he has what it takes to be his competition out like I he did last year. Rector has "HANDS". His hands are amazing and he is dangerous when the ball is in his hands. He's short but he's an contributer.

Possibility (1)

Jamel Richardson - I believe if this guy anything like he was in the CFL he might could win the last spot on the wide receiver chart. He would have to take full advantage of his opportunities when the ball is thrown his way.

I believe it's going to come down to Jamel Richardson and Jamaica Rector for the last spot.

We all know TO & Glenn will start with Crayton as #3. It then becomes a lot more interesting depending on how Hurd & even Austin look. If either step it up enough to seriously challenge Crayton for #3 job, Cowboys will have a decison to make since Crayton becomes a FA after 07 season and will expect big bucks. Depending on what Richardson shows & how Stanbuch develops, we could have a surprise at WR position particularly if Rector makes a play too. Of course it entirely possible things remain static and no surprise emerge at this position.

Practice Squad (2)

Mike Jefferson - I believe if he could do the same think he did at Montana State last year he could end up this year's Sam Hurd. From my predictions he makes the practice squad.

Isiah Stanback - He has great athletic ability but I think he's going to end up on the practice squad. From being injured during mini camps and OTA's, I believe it would take a miracle for him to make this team. He would have to prove that he could beat the competition out that's ahead of him, which I seriously doubt, but who knows? I believe he should be switch back to quarterback.

What happened to Marion Barber and Chris Canty?

We're on the subject of 4th Round Wide Receivers?

Not 4th Rd. Defensive linemen and Runningbacks

The subject was 4th round picks. My post was about our 4th round pick being on the PS. Don't try and fit it to your needs.

I didn't know a 4th Round Wide Receiver being on the PS was my needs....

The whole subject is on Wide Receiver... Let's keep this on topic...

Starters:

Owens and Glenn

Third:

Crayton

Fourth and Fifth who will be active every week as kick returners:

Austin and Stanback

If we keep a sixth, he won't see the field unless someone gets hurt.

Crayton makes the team unless traded or placed on IR. A trade is so unlikely its basically zero probability. He's needed here in case TO or TG goes down. That leaves two spots IMO. I don't see them keeping 6 WRs. We just have a problem deciding on who to keep which is a good problem. Finally.

It's too early to see who's going to make it although its fun trying to predict.

I think you're likely looking at one roster spot after Stanback. But unfortunately injury will likely dictate some of the roster decisions.

How sure are you that Stanback is going to beat his competition out?

He is our #3 WR by a long ways. His 36 catches last year were light years ahead of the entire corp of WR's combined.

4th round picks generally make the team unless they suck to high heavens like last years pick. They flat out missed on Skyler Green, especially on his work ethic/keeping in shape. Green was a reach and I really doubt that any other team was interested in him that high, but it didn't keep the bengals from stealing him off the practice squad either. Common sense would tell you that a high fourth round pick isn't going to go to the practice squad especially when a couple of teams were also interested in him in the fourth round.
