Positional Depth

Coming into this draft, there were 4 or 5 positions in which a rookie could really help us a great deal in '23:
DT, LG, RB#2, TE, maybe LB.

Sure a CB would be nice, but at least for this year I really like our top 4 and a rookie would likely play sparingly.
Same for Edge. If Gallup is back to pre-injury form you can say the same for WR

So out the positions that could really help us this year, DT was by far the one that stretched the least.

There are a ton of day 2 TEs that could help us. A TON of day 2 and day 3 RBs and even IOLs that could challenge for a starting
spot.

To summarize, if we didn't get Smith, we would be facing a '23 DT rotation with Osa, Hankins, and blech, but that is not necessarily the case at those other spots that could use an upgrade.

Both CB/RB can stretch, but don't think LG, LB and TE are that deep after the top prospects are off the board. This should be the area of focus.
