That is great news but seems like a fairly quick turn-around...the fact we were able to shuffle 3 other positions and still manage to keep things going was awesome!
At the time of the injury it was not looking good!

Tennesse had just driven down the field and scored a TD to make the score 17-13. We had the ball at midfield. We were struggling to run the ball.
Dak and the offense preceded to score a TD and kick a FG on the next 2 drives. With all the reshuffling the O line held up against a very formidable D line!!!

I remember Ryan Kesler of the Canucks went down in what looked like a serious injury (falling full speed with skates into boards) back in 2010 or so. Looked like a season ender but he was back in 2 weeks. It was also called a high ankle sprain. So maybe they're not all bad news

We saw the typical substitution used for C injuries on game day. Shuffling a guard to center and bringing in the backup guard/T. I don’t think that’s what we will see vs Washington. I think we will see a true center on the active roster and playing, keeping the other 4 guys consistent.

they should have not moved Smith. All they had to do was plug JP in the guard position. shrugs oh well.

I would just wait till after the wild card game. If we can't win a game without him in the wild card, then we have no hope to win the big game so no point in playing him.

I got a high ankle sprain and I was still able to play Starcraft II at a high level. He'll be fine.

I had some dental surgery done years back. I was in pain, doped up on prescription pain relievers, and yet I made it to Warcraft raid night. Willis Reed ain't got nothing on me.

A high ankle sprain healing in 17 days?

Yeah ok

Its not going to heal that fast, they are talking about if its going to be good enough to play on for the first round.

Put about 5 rolls of tape on it and shoot it up, might be able to get through one game.

As much as I enjoy dunking on Risen, I actually don't blame him for feeling that way after seeing the play. It looked pretty terrible.
He said that after the game when reports that it was most likely as high ankle sprain. I blame him for not knowing and false speculation.

Kesler could have been Olympic gold medalist in diving had he gone that route instead of playing hockey.

Nice. You and me, we play through pain. I respect that. Mean Joe Greene never had a cramped shoulder and eye strain while defending a zerg rush. For the love of the game, that's why I play.
