Positives from the game

Quite a few positives from game.

Some I want to point out off the bat.

1. Schottenheimer and Adam’s are the real deal. Their scheme. Running scheme, blocking scheme and play calling are the real deal. Best offensive scheme we have had in decades.

2. Fluornoy. He needs to be the 3 receiver when ceedee comes back.

3. Pass rush. They started to really play today. Fowler came alive and looked like his old self. EZE is getting better. Houston looks really good.

4. Shemar James and Liafau. Honestly Sanborn shouldn’t see the field again. I’ll take young player mistakes from guys who actually have the physical ability to make plays.

There’s a lot more. But just some things top of mind.

Williams at RB is the hammer this offense has missed for years . And hats off to Juanyeh Thomas keep him at FS no matter who comes back . No deep balls going over the defense today .

Despite the hate, Dak has been smart, efficient and hes running! I always have my doubts but hes our leader.

I agree on Adams and Flournoy. Adams with a Tony Wise vibe as one of the better O Line coaches in a while. Adams makes the whole better than the sum of the parts. Flournoy is a baller with big play capability.

And yet the offense rolled.

Williams is a great runner and I don't mind him wearing Tony dorsett's number he does it proud

Our backup offensive line may not be all backups they played very well and fortunately we have good depth there.

Wide receiver room looks pretty good

Jets had their full starting offensive line and we created some pass rush.

On a side note maybe brokeback mountain will crawl back in his hole and we will not have to hear from him for at least a week

I am impressed with the reduction in dumb penalties this year. We seem to not be beating ourselves as often.

We had 11 penalties, the only reason it's not a more of a story is because we played a horrible team
