Looks like Miles is not a one season wonder.

We are not as bad as so many thought we were.

.................

Guys help me out and find some more.

I'm sorry, but in my current frame of mind there is not much to be excited about after that debacle last night.

:bang2:

There were some, albeit few.

The blocking overall was pretty decent, it was definitely better than most epxected. After not being able to run a lick in preseason, most of the running play we called last night seemed to work.

Thought Bryant had a good debut. Free looked good. Austin was tremendous. I thought Holland looked pretty good, and Gurode had a good game.

The defense only gave up 2 FG's (really 3, but fortunately Shanahan took the pts off the board)...Ware had his usual great game...Jenkins and Newman were fine

Not much else to get excited about.

We lost to a team that probably can't crack .500. How is that evidence that "we are not so bad"?

McBriar played well

Dez looked like he could be a player.

Austin looks like he's more than a one season wonder.

Although a few players did look good overall this team looked bad. Very disappointing.

Positives..

Our fears that we wouldnt be able to run the ball after the preseason were somewhat put to rest.

Doug Free looks like a strength instead of a weakness.(relative terms)

Austin looked great.

Our defense was really good. We got so much pressure on McNabb. He threw away about 10 passes that could have resulted in sacks or ints.
This defense can win championships.

Bryant looked like a young strong kid that has a lot of fire. Just something electric and hungry about him. He will be a leader someday. Reminded me of Mike Irvin.

Felix Jones looked really strong. That play where he had Fletcher bounce off of him out of bounds was impressive. He needs more carries. He is a horse. The impression that he is a fragile scat back is wrong. He is solid and dangerous.

Beuhler may have stunk up the joint in every aspect of kicking but he made some crushing takles.....alright thats not a positive.. i tried.

Absolutely, Dallas should have never been in that position a the end of the game.

Blame the Coaches for a terrible game plan and lack of motivation, there is no doubt where this loss should fall, right on Jason Garret/Wade Phillips..what a joke.

positives:

* we have the Bears next week

* only one loss in the books

* we get our guys back (Kozier, Colombo)

* Eagles got their teeth kicked in

* Bryant got his feet wet

One other positive, in a game filled with mistakes otherwise, I dont think any of our players dropped a pass.

Some positives:

No ints, 282 yards of passing we hit 8 diffrent recievers with passes so we do good mixing it up.

over 100 yards rushing, felix looked good, Barber looked good, ski looked good

Miles 146 yards recieveing and a TD.

Dez showed fire and strong hands, teams will have to watch him but will still roll double coverage to miles so he should produce more.

Defense gave up no TD's, and only 2 FG's.

We had some good plays in the secondary, had a pick if not for a penalty.

Those are the positives in my oppinion.

Romo will be Romo when the gameplan will allow him to be. He was awesome on that last Drive

Romo looked for Dez a few times on the last Drive. I don't think it will be long before they are really clicking

Defense was very good last night against a unit that they had no film on.

They will not be able to justify keeping Barber in that starting role much longer. Those spin moves by Felix last night were sweet.

Miles Austin might be the best receiver in the league right now. He is scary good.

I can agree with this.

I thought the defense played tremendous.

Barron's horrible holding penalties aside, the oline played not as bad as everyone said they would.

There is still 15 more games left to go in the season, despite what the "realistic" fans would have you believe.

What team were you watching? We're actually worse than I thought we were, and I thought that we were a 9-7 caliber team.

Alright Negative Nancy. So we are worse than 9-7 now. What are we 7-9 caliber team? Come on come up with your prediction then welcome wagers on our record. I am sure many here will let you put your money where your mouth is. Maybe a Mod can hold the betting money until the season plays out.

Any interest?

If you would have showed me those stats without me knowing the outcome of the game, I would have thought a decisive victory for the Cowboys. How did they NOT WIN THIS GAME?!

What are you- 12? When you consider all the doom and gloom here and elsewhere we were OK. Mistakes killed us; otherwise we dominated them.

Sure Dallas might be better than 9-7 .... but this is no SuperBowl team.

People that have been around those teams and watched them win are very aware of what it takes and what the current group of players and coaches just doesn't have.

It's a disappointment.
