possibility of a three way trade?

And you are....?

Apparently better than an Aggie :laugh2:.

Joking aside, what is the college like? My parents want me to consider A&M.

I'm sorry, why would we trade Jones for Turner? How is Turner a sure fire upgrade over Julius? The guy has started 1 game in 3 years. he has a gaudy average per carry but so did Hambrick when he was Emmitt's backup.

If Turner was all that then some team like the Giants or Browns, who are desperate for a RB, would have traded for him already.

Julius is a very good RB and will prove it this year in a new offense with better blocking up front.

As i stated in my original post, i am one of those who wants to see what Jones can do this coming season. However, in light of persistant trade rumors involving Jones and rumors concerning the Boys interest in Turner, the thread was intended to get some opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of a 'three way trade' as opposed to two seperate trades.

Does a 'three way trade' simply guarentee the cowboys will have Turner (thus a replacement for jones) if they choose to trade jones to another team rather than taking a chance that they will find a replacement for him in other ways? or are their other advantages (or disadvantages) to it?

It's easily been the most fun 3 years of my life so far. College Station is a true college town, and the people are some of the nicest on any campus in the country.

If you want to play intramural sports, A&M has the largest intramural sports program in the country

A ton of my friends are going there, and my father wants me to go there (he thinks I can get a free ride), so I'm gonna end up checking it out.

It'd be nice to leave "the bubble".

A&M does give out some nice scholorships, especially if you are a merit scholar

Not sure if i ever recall one outside the NBA and MLB?
The Atlanta, Denver and Washington trade that sent Duckett to the Skins, Lelie to the Falcons, and gave Denver picks.

Yeah I'm thinking I have somewhat of a shot at being a semifinalist.

Not sure what's so confusing. The Cowboys have said they have no interest in Michael Turner, yet people continue to manufacture ways and reasons to get him on the Cowboys somehow and get rid of Julius Jones who has only outperformed Turner by a wide margin.

How else would you define that?

I don't care or less about what 'people' are 'manufacturing'. If you read my original post i made my position very clear. i don't know how to say it any clearer but I will say it again. i would like to see what Jones can do under the new coaching staff, who might utilize him in a way that takes advantage of his own unique abilities and strengths.

Having said that, i asked a few questions regarding the advantages and disadvantages of 'three way trades', in this case involving SD (Turner), Dallas (Jones), and another team. it was a question intended to get opinions from the board on a topic i am not very well versed on.

where is the agenda?

BTW, eventhough me, you and others would like to see Jones back with the team, a trade involving Jones is a possibility. Nobody on this board knows what the Boys are thinking and what they will do before the draft, on draft day, or afterwards.

If I am correct I believe Jones also nixed the T.O. to Dallas rumors early last year, too.
