I’ll assume round one went the way of the O-Line.

If Cooper’s there I’d be happy as the addition of Kendricks isn’t enough. If Fiske and/or Sweat is there I would hope there is a discussion on those two.

With that list I’d go on the defensive side with any of the three I selected and an argument can be made for any of those guys.

The way the draft is setting up this year, I would consider this draft a considerable failure if our first two selections aren’t bigger contributors than picks 1 and 2 from last season.

Compile a list of tight ends or linebackers in the draft that have recently suffered significant injuries.

You will find the answer somewhere in there.

Payton Wilson is an awesome linebacker who has been injured, but he has been healthy for about 2 years. I like him a lot.

One guy not on this list that should be in consideration is Malachi Corley. Strong Senior Bowl week and combine. He is definitely in the 2nd round convo. Id replace him with Leggette, who I think is a possible 1st rounder

Beebe, Ruke and both HB's I think are stronh possibilities from this list. If I had to choose one it would be Benson

Whoever the best player is that falls…from that list probably Cooper or Frazier.

Jonathan Brooks feels like a mega Cowboys pick, and he'll probably be there at #56.

Looking at their Combine interviews, the team talked to a ton of DTs, so I think that's another very likely target. Keep an eye on Ruke from Clemson, he checks all the usual Cowboys boxes. Leonard Taylor III would be a smash-the-TV pick, but he fits the type too.

If they don't take a running back at 56, they will pretty almost have to take one at 87 and the backs should start flying off the board in front of them. To me they better grab a back in the 2nd and not have sit there and watch them disappear as they wait to pick one in the 3rd.
