No worries, with a couple cuts and a couple restructures the Cowboys will be well under the cap.

At a projected 153m, with a 4m rollover Dallas can be up to 42m under the cap.

Big cuts- BCarr, DFree, TMcClain, Gachkar

Restructures- TSmith, TCrawford, Witten

Big FAs- GHardy, RoMcClain, Leary, Bern, Dunbar, Claiborne, Mincey, Cassel, Turbin

Romo is back at a salary of 8.5m with a 20m cap hit and 31m in dead money. He isn't going anywhere yet. Just a get a quality backup.

Of the FA's I would bring back Leary,Mincey and Turbin. I'd only bring back Hardy on a low risk, sweet hart deal for the team.

No Hardy for me, he's a distraction on the sidelines, during practice and during the games he isn't showing up enough.

Don't forget a potential Dez restructure. Only downside is that we have as many holes as we'll have cap space.

I left off Dez, Romo and Lee because they have so much Dead money already. But it is there if needed.

Hardys salary should plummet with all things considered.

I want him back for around 6-7 mill a year.

Also, Tyrone Crawford is a huge bust for us. What a disapointment of a player he is.

Team can also cut Church and free up another $2,750,000.

It time to stop rewarding mediocrity. No more re-signing JAG's like Hayden either.

We have some big decisions in the secondary. Carr and Claiborne may be gone. Church and Wilcox are questions.

Only BJones, OScan look solid.

Dez wont restructure. His monkey is his manager and says no

doesnt matter what manager says, if i am jerry jones, i call him in my office, remind him he promised me a SuperBowl, but he wasnt in shape, kept getting hurt. Jerry Jones said so to the effect for rest of games this year, dez needs lots of work, lots, he isnt sitting. So, I as Jerry Jones demand that restructure. Because of Dez, holding out, we couldnt sign Murray, which hurt us, and we couldnt sign WR that went to Giants and killed us with kickoff return. I would remind Dez of that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might make sense to try to retain Claiborne on a cheap one year deal, if possible. Regardless, this team has a lot of work to do in the offseason in putting together a serviceable secondary.

I think Carr and Claiborne come back on reasonable deals. Hardy and McClain resign also on deal with a lot of incentives.

Leary, Dunbar, Cassel and Mincey all come back on market value contracts.

We sign a Safety and LB in free agency.

We spend a high draft pick on RB, QB and a LB.

Then next year we are a better version of what we were in 2014 and 2015, a team that can go to the Super Bowl if Romo is healthy (or in this case, he isn't but the rookie can play right away).

I really don't think Dez was out of shape. His workouts were intense even during the holdout.

I would just write it off to a lost year because of the foot injury.

bu bu but he only looks so bad because he's playing with a torn rotator cuff, you know, an injury being illegally covered up by the Cowboys org. (according to CZ posters)

I wouldn't restructure anybody, but this FO surely will because they always feel they are close, yet they rarely are.

They restructured Romo prior to this season when they were so close to not doing anybody for once. Looks foolish now.

For once, I wish they would be forward thinking.
