Possible BPA at 24- Devin Lloyd

I’m happy. He’s a consensus top 20 talent on almost every big board out there and he fits a need.

He’s a legit, 3 down LBr that gives you plus blitz ability so helps us with pressure.

Base downs you have Parsons at MLB and Lloyd at the WILL, then nickel downs you have Lloyd and Cox as your LBs with Parsons rushing.

6’3 235 Versatile and highly ranked LB that could fall due only to position value. Cowboys had him in for a visit showing clear interest.

Your reaction if Lloyd is the pick for the Cowboys at 24…?
Lloyd would be a worthy selection. He’s a terrific prospect. He’s as good a prospect and probably a bit better than the OL we’ve been discussing.

Would probably be disappointed. Linebacker is such a collision position. We hit the jackpot last year. I would prefer using a mid round pick for a depth/developmental pick and using 24 fir another position.

I would love it because it would mean Parsons could be full time pass rusher with Lloyd playing middle linebacker. Instantly up grades the defense.

I’d love Lloyd or Dean if the linemen don’t fall to us. They both would open up the defense. Giving Micah more room to roam and also can have him play some de at times.

Will have to move up in the second round to get what’s left of the highly ranked offensive lineman.

This. Lloyd isn't worth 24.

Can he play OL?
Lol, we are in dire straights at the position

He has the size and arm length that Quinn wants.

Don’t love the idea, he hits like a Disney Princess. I’d much rather Nakobe Dean.

I know we're supposed to like him, MLB, tough, playmaker. But I can't be the only one who think he occasionally looks weird or awkward running, like he's jogging.

Theoretically, totally cool with getting the kind of player he's sold as, but I can't get over the nagging feeling that there's an effort thing going in. I guess I'll look closer, maybe the clips I watched weren't a great example

Reach, he's ranked 28th and Utah players frequently fall short in the NFL.

As a player he improves pass rush and run defense. Don't think he falls and if he does (or Cross for that matter), why didn't we invite a 2nd/3rd Rd Guard to the 30 Visits (or did we and I missed it?)

He would be a good fit. Strengthens our run defense and would allow Parsons to play more as a pass rusher in the nickel. The only issue I see, they almost would have to take an interior lineman at 56 as they desperately need to draft a starter in this draft.

So who were 2nd Rd Guards we invited to the 30 Visits?

Rainmann? Many believe his lack of length might force him inside.
Will he still be there at 56? I suppose that's particular to this draft....so many inponderables.
Knowing we don't have a LG (and nobody in FA), it's strange why we didn't invite more of the 2nd/3rd Rd options.
