Some buzz going around that the Browns are trying to shop Corey Coleman and that Dallas is interested in some kind of Scandrick + draft pick/swapping draft picks for Coleman deal.

IMO this is the ideal solution. It shouldn't cost #19 or 50 and gives a player with the right measurables and experience that can immediately contribute. He is injury prone but the risk is still worth taking.

DJ Chark seems like a great potential fit to be the speed guy to compliment all of our short route guys & running game, but he's the only speed sub 4.4 speed guy in the draft that should go in the top 4 rounds. His combine and senior bowl is getting his hype train a bit too out of control and he likely will be overdrafted. At #50 he's a risk and will take time to develop. He may not even be there at #50. The nfl.com comparison of Chris Conley is fair and he went in the 3rd although the guy was not fluid at all and has bad hands. Conley's combine was better than Chark's in terms of numbers.

Antonio Callaway has red flags but he has great tape making some premier DBs look silly in the red zone (Minkah Fitzpatrick & Derwin James). Should be Day 3 due to off the field. Is Dallas comfortable taking him? He showed remorse and may not be a Gregory case. His issues other than being around weed look like they'd not be an issue at all once he gets nfl money? Won't cost a premier pick. Definitely has speed to go over the top but looks like he's capable of doing everything.

Sammy Watkins is a FA, probably out of Dallas' price range since Dallas right now has no money at all but... something to think about if some cap room is freed. Very injury prone.

John Brown also a FA option.

Any other potential sleepers that can fill the dire speed receiver need 3rd round or lower or FA/Trade targets? Gotta be better and more threatening than Brice Butler. Using #19 and #50 on other positions and getting a cheap speed receiver elsewhere is ideal.

Really? I hadn't heard that but I'd like Coleman a lot here. Little injury risk, but all just depends on what we'd have to give up obviously.

Your English/Gammar/ Punctuation indicates someone that is smart enough that you shouldn't fall for the "Dallas has no money at all" nonsense.

I'm not sure why the Browns would want to dump Corey Coleman; however, I don't know why the Cowboys or any team would give up much of anything for him considering his injury issues. The Browns have done dumb stuff before so I would trade them Scandrick and a 6th for a 7th and Coleman.

DJ Chark has a high probability of being a faster TWill. He tends to body catch often.

Callaway is a good player. I'm OK drafting him in the 4th if they do just small amount of checking on the specifics of his issues. He does have smallish hands which would be a concern for a 1st/2nd round WR but for a late round pick I don't care.

Watkins shouldn't break the bank and might be better off taking a 1-year deal to get his value back up. He is a fan of the Cowboys WR coach.

John Brown missed 6 games in 2017 but only 2 in all of his other 3 years. I don't know if he is better than Beasley per se, but having a legit speed guy in place of Beasley would help the offense. The lack of speed on offense was a huge problem for the Cowboys last season. Defenses did some things against the Cowboys that they wouldn't do if their was a legit speed threat on the field.

Having said all that, I doubt they would sign Brown because they like Beasley.

They need to draft a WR with a premium pick if possible; although they should not reach or force the pick.

Free agents tend to have warts; otherwise they tend to get re-signed by their own teams. The Dallas offense must have talent at WR. They can't scheme average WRs open the way some teams do it.

DJ Moore
Ridley
E. St. Brown

Sutton
Kirk

If they take a second WR later there are a few that are interesting but Callaway is the most talented.

It's not pretty. Still need to get Martin's deal done. This is the money even with Mayowa's cut included. Gonna need to cut/trade some players like Scandrick to get some cap space and who knows if they even want to spend it on a WR. Restructures are always possible but that's what helped create this bind in the first place.

Uhh yeah, I'll take the Coleman/Scandrick+draft pick deal. If this was true et should have breaking news already, so i doubt the validity of this rumor.

What has Coery Coleman done inthe league besides become injury prone and proven to a first round draftpick mistake for the Browns. Cleveland went after Jarvis Landry for a reason to pair with Gordon.

Kid can't finish out his rookie contract with Cleveland of all places yet, Cowboys fans want him on our roster like Dallas already don't have a underachieving WR from Baylor already onthe roster.

The 2nd link is your post on this site.

So where are you "hearing" "reading" this buzz?

Shown he's explosive and can score with terrible qb play with no other viable threats. And yes, for a late round pick, a player we're cutting anyway, and a rookie contract + option of course we would what on earth.

Coleman is very different athletically from TWill. Going to the same school doesn't really play into that. He's a blazer with quickness. TWill is bigger bodied and does short routes like the rest of our team does which is why the field was so crowded for the 2017 offense.

Sometimes you need a change of scenery to explode. Hell, Randy Moss got turned from generational talent into random nobody super quick once he went to Oakland then back to generational talent in NE again. Coleman is exactly what this offense needs and he will likely explode here if he stays healthy.

I saw random chatter on reddit or some youtube video or something along those lines. There's nothing official so don't take the Scandrick thing as gospel. The draft pick portion should be obvious though. Wouldn't surprise me if Dallas was at least talking behind the scenes without any leaked media sources dumping out info to the public though. The buzz around the Browns is at least somewhat real as there is random chatter amongst their media members and fanbase.

Paul Richardson actually looks like a good fit as well, I didn't know he was so fast. I've seen him make plenty of plays down field though so it all makes more sense now.

OScan, Dez, Gregory and 2019 1st round pick for Coleman, Flash Gordon and Myles Garrett.
