Possible DC Candidates

With Quinn interviewing 4 times this week it’s looking like he’s as good as gone. We have some internal candidates like Whitt and Edwards but IMO they aren’t good enough. Plus Whitt might follow Quinn.

Fangio is my #1 target but he’s going to be scooped up fast.

What are some other names out there? We need someone who is going to take advantage of these young players with arrows pointing up and build around Parsons.

It has to be someone who understands how to build a DEF around Parsons. Fangio would be my choice also but I don't hold out much hope

If Mike is not fired he won't be our new DC. Coaches have egos too. Remember after that Broncos game with Fangio boasted that he came up the formula to stop our offense, then Mike laughed at him saying he's beating his own chest?

I would take him too because everywhere he goes he fields a top-10 defense, or near the top-10.

Edwards. he is in house. did great in Minn, until ZImmer made a mistake to let him go (put his son as DC and Edwards was the scapegoat). Players respect him. runs a 4-3.

Look for a call from Parcells to Booger regarding Zimmer. He was the one coach that Booger didn”t consider one of Jimmy’s guys.

I just think we had Edwards for two years now and they didn’t make him DC so I’m not so sure

They were going to fire Mike Nolan mid season in 2020 and promote Edwards until the Jane Slater report came out about the coaches being garbage teachers.

Hiring Quinn was a no brainer, and it worked because he and Edwards had worked together before.

Quinn is coming back. He's not going to take just any job and Jerry will pay him like a HC.
