Detroit had to pull out every trick in the book (fake punts, included) to even be close. Next time there will be no surprise's. Cowboys will be ready. Hopefully.

Detroit ran it down our throat and stifled our run game. They controlled LOS.
Only Goff's picks and CD Lamb gave us the edge.

If CeeDee doesn't fumble away a TD I actually think the game is closer to a 14-17 point win. Would love to play them again.
This. Down double digits, Detroit would’ve abandoned the run immediately.

Defense would’ve had a chance at another pick or 2.

Not overly worried about it. Lions remind me of last years Vikings. I can see them getting upset in the WC like the Vikings did last year
The Lions are much much better than the Vikings were last year. The Vikings were a poor team that lucked into a bunch of close wins. The Lions are a legitimately good team.

They could still be upset in the WC round of course, it's not like they're a great team, and the 5 seed will be a legitimately solid opponent.

Also the Lions really pulled out a lot of stops that ultimately only kept them in the game.

Probably my biased perspective, though.
As well as the first turn over within the 5 to start off the game.

I don't think Detroit wins in the wild card round.
i also believe that the rams will be a tough team to play in round one even for the cowboys it will a very tough game. the rams are playing really well they are not the same team that the cowboys beat earlier this season.

Would love to see a rematch. So would the NFL. Controversy and drama? Yes, please.

The Lions are loaded with offensive weapons and they are bitter because they tried to win the game by throwing the ball to their left tackle.

Deep down inside they are mad at their own stupidity moreso than Dallas or the officials.

I doubt Detroit would enjoy seeing CeeDee Lamb again... The dumbest thing we did against Detroit was continually try to establish the run. We could do almost what we wanted passing the ball on them. We match up OK vs Detroit. We should be able to beat anyone except of course the 49ers. Should/would/could I guess...
One interesting discussion on Sirius NFL this morning was on how the NFL is gonna write the script for playoffs ratings...expecting the NFL to have...

Rams vs Detroit
GB vs Dallas

It would be a homecoming playoff game for (Rams) Matthew Stafford vs Detroit and then a Green Bay at Dallas game matching MM up against his old team....it would be a rating bonanza for the NFL....

And this is the most possible scenario. For us the best, too. It’d be much much better to play GB than lately-in-form Rams.
