:star: Zoners: I have watched Thomas (ref below) play on numerous occasions and he is extremely strong and talented. He would be a steal for us in the 2nd rd.

I realize alot of things can/will happen between now and the draft. But, it is fun to discuss this stuff.

I respect the Zoners opinion and look forward to seeing if you folks believe I am wrong about this player......thanks

45. Marcus Thomas, defensive tackle, Florida – Yes, I know about his background with the off-field problem that cost him the chance to complete his senior campaign, but I also see the type of production and havoc he can cause on an opposing offense. He has first-round ability and has started to revive hopes of being taken early by jumping out several times during the Texas vs. the Nation practices. Several evaluators also noted his decision to skip Super Bowl party week for the chance to interview with teams. That helped put him back on the first day map.

The coaches at the Tx vs Nation said he came in w/ a great attitude and looking forward to putting his past behind him.

According to ESPN, he's 6'3 290. May have to put on some weight, but he's a guy with something to prove. It'll be interesting to see how he comes in at the combine.

Exactly, this guy has the heart and all the intangibles....quick feet and puts pressure on the QB. 6'3'' frame that can handle the extra weight.

i live here in florida and went to the Gator -LSU game, which i believe was his first game back from suspension(the 1st one). All the college kids at the game were talking about was how he got suspended for dope smoking. Is this what we want on our team? One of the local frat houses even had a huge banner saying "Marcus Thomas is gonna smoke LSU" with a drawing of a big blunt on it. The kid IS awesome though. No denying it.

I did not realize that......wow....but, I remember we passed on Randy Moss for the same thing......and he is one heck of a WR or used to be.

Moss WAS a great WR for about 4 years. Now he is crap because of his attitudes which were the reasons we passed on him. Passing on him was a good move.

As for this guy you are touting now...from what I hear he is a perfect candidate to go to Cincinnati
