Possible issue with Huff

all teams tendered based on the 2010 rules.

OK, thanks. So unless the NFL grants another window for tendering, Huff will be either a street free agent or an unrestricted free agent.

may just be wishfull think, but I don't see why the NFL will grant an additional window. i think it would litterally be the huff window

If there's a new CBA -- or possibly if there isn't -- and any rules change (including tender amounts) or a salary cap is set, I could see the NFL opening a new window for teams to either rescind, change or offer tenders.

If the NFL sticks with pure 2010 rules for 2011, then there probably won't be, but you never know.

It's based on his previous year's salary -- it can't be less than 110 percent of his previous year's salary. Spears' 2009 salary was only $735,000, so we could keep him in 2010 for the regular tender amount.

Huff made $5.75 million last season, so his RFA tender can't be less than $6.325 million.
Gosh I would so prefer to keep Spears.
