Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden said he will have a difficult decision choosing between PKs Todd France and Matt Bryant. The team will only keep one of the two players and many believe France may have had a slight edge entering their final preseason game, but Bryant may have taken the upper-hand with a 52-yard field goal during it.


Anyone know anything about these guys? One will be released soon.

Hunter was released so that pick reverted back to the Jets.

If this is the same Matt Bryant that tried out for us last season, then he would definitely be the guy that I would go after. Bryant was clearly the better kicker than Cundiff was in last year's training camp and it was his job to lose until he got injurred towards the end of it. As a result, Cundiff won it by default and that was the last I heard of Bryant.

That's right...I knew I had heard that name before.....He was pretty darn good.

No, We still have the Hunter pick that was not a conditional pick,m Bryant was a guy we were interested in last year and France kicked in NFL Europe this year I believe. :iggles: :trophy: :suxiggle: :disseags:

yes, we still get a pick for hunter - i believe a 6th in 2007.

I think it is very possible that the Cowboys snag one of these kickers. I think Bryant would have been the kicker a few years ago had he not hurt his leg.
