Haven’t seen this mentioned. I thought of it just now in another thread.

Tyron at LT is going to happen.
Tyler next to him could be dominant.
Biadasz is having a solid season.

McGovern played very well in absence of Martin in 2020. He could move over to RG easily.

Martin is a better guard, a HOF one, but also a pretty damn good RT.

Peters is the first backup at at least three positions. Maybe Tyron shares LT snaps with Peters for a couple of games.

Changing four starting OL spots in December may not be a great idea, but they would have time gel.

Are those our best five, or do we bench McGovern or Tyler and go with Peters at RT?

Tyron has more experience at RT than any option...

Hopefully they get the OL figured out because it didn’t play well last Sunday. The lack of continuity could really mess things up upfront.

To me… Peters to RT is the best option. Like he said, I know how to keep my man in front of me.

Martin doesn’t want to play tackle and he isn’t a all pro at that position

But probably would be if that’s where he played.

We have seen him do it at a high level.

I just think those are the best five, but I know they won’t go mixing it up that much.

We only seen limited snaps there and we don’t know how good or bad he will be. Not a guarantee he is an elite tackle by any means

Martin has said himself he doesn’t want to play RT. It caused him to pull his calf twice in 2020 and those movements are not his preferred.

He is and always will be a RG unless there’s an emergency.

We gonna keep McGovern AND steele I say just Steele. They will move ty smith in and go with ball or wsketsko next yr of tyron gets hurt. No way we will be able to pay both.

McGovern did NOT play well in Martins absence. This Oline fell to pieces along with the offensive consistency last year when the Oline injuries hit.

All I can tell you is that if Ball is the one playing RG any hope of offensive consistency or winning a playoff game is all but over.
