This is not a surprise at all, and one of the reasons I didn't really like the pick. Obviously, a draft pick is more than a one year investment. So the talent is arguably worth the gamble.

They need to sign CB Kendall Fuller to play the slot, unless they believe that much in Kemon Hall. Diggs and Revel will probably miss the first 4-6 weeks of the regular season. Bland doesn't want to play slot. He's in a contract year, and doesn't want to be paid like a slot DB.
