What is football? It's a sport. A fun sport, right? Why not have fun playing this sport and if you feel like dancing after a TD, what's wrong with it? Just because you have a stick up your *** doesn't mean everyone does.

That's clever

So.....it doesn't make the game less entertaining
Different culture. Professionals are about their brand now that they have made it. They are entertainers not just employees, and are at the highest level, not trying to make it to the highest level.

Honestly bro, this isn't a new thing, or a "generational" thing.
TD celebrations have been going on since before you've been watching football.

I remember TD celebrations that were far more outlandish and choreographed 30 years ago than they are today.

Get a grip people.

My comment about different culture has nothing to do with age. It was in response to a previous poster that college football was just as entertaining and they don't celebrate. They don't, because they are not allowed to, and allowing celebrations in college would not hurt it's entertainment value or it's popularity. The culture I was referring to was collegiate vs professional

You are absolutely astute. I was commenting on the thread in general and lazily made your comment the brunt of it.
I even thought about giving the post an edit after reading things in context, but even then I was too lazy in the allotted time.

Let me just say this: I'm 1 hour 11 minutes in to Kingdom of the Spiders and STILL haven't seen one single spider attack.
Thank goodness William Shatner is with me, guiding me through this non-scary, insect apocalypse.

Always good to see my man Clove. You going to be doing any Play by Play this coming season?
You know I look forward to it.

You know, I might do it again this year. I have a little more excitement this year than year's past, so I'm thinking about doing it.

Choose wisely, friend. Just know that I may rain down endless likes in the wake of such a conflagration upon you.
Not that that should affect your decision making, of course... but I could make you a rich man...

Even richer than Risen...

Think about it. You know where to find me.

I don't care if he dances like a ballerina as long as he finds the end zone often he can do whatever he likes.
