I like it, he is versatile and a team leader who can take the same amount of snaps Wilson would if he is suspended. Plus he will sign cheap enough that it won't cost us anything if we do cut him after training camp.

Exactly, but if you don't give him a big signing bonus there is no cap hit if you cut him after training camp but before the season starts. Its a free look in training camp.

Last year he played for 965K with a signing bonus of 80K. On the same contract it would only cost 80K to cut him if he doesn't make the 53.

At first I was thinking of Kevin- then I definitely know we will win the SB next year because he only goes to championship teams.
LOL. Unfortunately this Durant played for the Jags, Lions & Falcons, oh and our 'Boys. No championships there. :p

Just curious.. what ever happened to the Daryl Washington interest?

Side note: I don't have a problem with Durant coming back. He wasn't flashy, but he wasn't a liability either
According to Broaddus, there really was never any legitimate interest in Washington. I guess they know what Durant can do and feel more comfortable.
