Dallas Defensive 2014
Okay, I was a little worry about the draft, because you never know what Jerry Jones will do. I'm not going to waste time, I'm just going get right to it.

2RD Pick - Demarcus Lawrence: I think he will bring enough pressure off the edge and combine that with Henry Milton coming up the middle. I think we will be improved on the defensive.

I'm very excited about these additions to our defensive. I think these guys we be an impact on Day 1, except for Chris Whaley. I went back and watch the highlight videos of all three these players and all have some nice traits that can benefit out team. 1) aggressive, 2)speed, 3)non stop motor, 4) athletic.

7RD Pick - Ken Bishop (6'1" 305lbs) 1 TECH

UDFA Signing - Davon Coleman (6'2" 297lbs) 1 or 2 TECH

UDDA Signing - Chris Whaley(RS) (6'3" 296lbs) 1 TECH

Ken Bishop and Davon Coleman in the highlights was very active and provide pressure from everywhere. If you have not seen their highlight videos you need to see them. I was very impressed and felt that these guys can have an impact now. Now, Chris Whaley will have to wait because of his ACL tear, but when he is ready to go he will be a beast for us.

2014 DLine
T. Crawford, H. Milton, T. McClain, D. Lawrence
G. Selvie, D. Coleman, K. Bishop, J. Mincey
I think N. Hayden aka Golden Cock will not make the 53 roster. Ben Bass need to have the the best camp of his life to make the 53 and pushed D. Coleman to the PS. I really like B.Bass and Hatcher and the Cowboys like him too, but we need the best 'this group. One thing we have is a bunch of hungry Defensive Players looking to make a name for themselves.

Dallas Offensive 2014
1RD Pick - Zac Martin: will make our OLine one of the best in the league.

The only other change will be this beast of a FB - J.C. Copeland (6'1" 270lbs). He will be a beast blocking for D. Murray. He is athletic to catch a few ball out the backfield, but blocking will be money in the bank for him. I like the Devin Street pick. He is 6'3" 200lbs. He give starter ability in case of injuries and the 3rd WR. I like D. Harris and he will be our slot WR. So, this puts C. Beasley in a tough situation to make the 53 roster. I like 2 UDFA WRs with size and speed (L. Washington 6'4" 200lbs and Chris Boyd 6'4" 215lbs). I think Chris Boyd has a better chance making the team than L. Washington. L. Washington need to polish up on his route running. He has the speed and hands. C. Beasley is a very big disadvantage (5'8" 170lbs).

D. Bryant (6'2"), T. Williams (6'2"), D. Street (6'3"), D. Harris (5'11") - Red Zone will be hard for teams to stop. Especially, if you add 6'4" Chris Boyd to the mix.

So, guys what you think. Let me make one more player addition to the defensive that I think can come in if they work hard is Ahmad Dixon SS. I really like his passion for the game and it's really a dream for him to play for the Cowboys. He was so emotional in the phone call. If the light come on with him. He said he has been counted out all his life. He live every day with a motivation to be the best. I will not bet against this guy, matter I'm pulling for this guy. This could be that replacement for D. Woodson we have been trying to find.

One thing all these players that we drafted or signed know that Dallas Cowboys need help and the opportunity is their for them.

I was rooting for everything you said until you talked about Dixon being a replacement for Woodson... You need to apologize :D other than that, thanks for your input. Something you need to keep in mind tho is that they have been talking all offseason about Waves of pass rushers. With that in mind, you have to expect that we are going to carry more than 8 Dlinemen, most likely 10. As far as wr's go, Beasly is more trusted by Romo there than Harris. Harris' only claim now is special teams and I believe that we will find an adequate replacement for him there. The temptation to carry those tall receivers is going to be awfully strong especailly Washington who reportedly runs sub 4.4. Coleman will replace Clutts if he does a good job in training camp. He doesn't even have to be excellent ... just good. The threat of having his big body in short yardage and goal line situations will give him an advantage in any FB competition.

Okay, I got carried away with the Woodson comparison. I hope we do keep 10 Dlinemen, because I really like Ben Bass and I believe he will come to camp ready to prove himself. He see the opportunity to be apart of something special. C. Beasley is only a slot WR and give you nothing more. I think D. Harris can be that and more. When D. Harris was hurt and C. Beasley was taking punts I was so scared that he would get hurt and lose the ball, plus he can't fill in for our 2 top WR if they get hurt, but D. Harris can fill in. The tall WRs, if they start making plays all over the field, it will be interested to see what Coach Garrett will do.

For all your worry about Beasley, he has been very dependable . He gets open and does a good job in the slot. His size hasn't be an issue with anybody but the opposing DBs that have a hard time covering him.
