I read elsewhere that the Boys have said they won't be drafting a quarterback (they do, however, plan on trying to sign a veteran to back up Romo)... I guess this makes some sense, but I'll look at this crop anyway... for our purposes, pay particular attention to the likely undrafted rookie free agents, they will likely look to add another pass via that route, as they do most years...
Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M... with any luck at all, he's going to the Skins in the 1st round... I say that would be lucky because it would mean they missed out on trading up for Robert Griffin III...
Brock Osweiler, Arizona State... not many really tall quarterbacks have been successful in the NFL, and Brock goes 6-7... a likely 2nd rounder...
Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma State... if it wasn't for his advanced age, he'd probably be a 1st rounder... as it is, he'll probably go in the 2nd round...
Kirk Cousins, Michigan State... an intriguing option in the 3rd round...
Chandler Harnish, Northern Illinois... would be a steal in the 6th round, IMO...
Case Keenum, Houston... ultraproductive in college, I'd say he'd be worth a 7th round pick... if he goes undrafted, you should certainly be looking to get him signed...
And three more prospects likely to go undrafted who should merit some consideration for the Boys:
Patrick Witt, Yale...
G.J. Kinne, Tulsa... ultraproductive in college, but it would be nice if he was a little taller...
Nathan Dick, Central Arkansas...
