Post Draft Peek At The Depth Chart

Nice Hos...That makes it much easier to conceptualize

I'm pretty sure that Devers, Adcock, and Novikoff are going to be listed as guards for us, in case you want to update it. Also Harland Gunn is another guard we signed whom you can add to your depth chart if you'd like.

Thanks for putting that together.

I might as well put this here.

What camp battle is most interesting to you?

I know you mean position battle but I want to see Claiborne on Dez in practice.
I think if Claiborne can cover Dez it will open people's eyes a little more. Only Revis can cover Dez and even then Dez can make plays so let's see what happends.

Novikoff and Adcock may be able to play RT, but I agree, they will be tried out at OG as well.

I really hope coale makes the roster over ogletree. I do not want him back on this team

I think there's a really good chance of this happening. I think Holmes, Radway, and Coale all have a better shot of making the final 53 than Ogletree.

The problem is I have a hard time believing we'll go into the season with a rookie #3 WR who is so unproven. We may pick up a vet along the way before the final roster is complete, forcing at least one of these guys to the practice squad. But everything I've heard about Holmes is that they really like him and think he could have a breakout year, so I suppose it's possible he's our #3 at the start of the season.

For me the battle at the 3 interior line positions, G-C-G will be interesting to watch and will have a huge bearing on the ultimate success of the season.

Good answer.

I'll throw out Danny Coale vs. Dwayne Harris.

Of course the one everyone will be watching is Costa vs. Kowalski.

I would add Cole Beasley into that WR discussion. I think he is a perfect slot receiver

I've gotta say that I really like the overall makeup of our roster. Interior OL still scary but has potential. My fingers are crossed that Garrett and Callahan know what they're doing there. It's a young, hard-working, talented roster. I expect fewer stupid mistakes and greater effort.

I still dont think the 3rd WR is on the roster yet. I think you will see a Laurent Robinson situation as late as August as other teams cut guys.

Taplin-Ross is listed as a CB, but he's a safety. He also signed a three year deal so it tells you that he's more than just a camp body.

When jerry trotted out the UDFA "solution" to the annually woeful OL problem I expected to see a top UDFA brought in for the worst position(center). I'm hoping there is some unseen plan in place because right now it looks like there is no plan at all.

Guard position between these four guys. Mackenzy Bernadeau, Nate Livings, Bill Nagy, David Arkin. I could see a scenario where both Nagy and Arkin earn the starting positions. Especially of Bernadeau kicks over to Center.

This guy is gonna make up for dropping a 3rd down pass by pinning teams inside the 5 on the very next play.

Yes, he'll probably drop it right after he passes the goal line, like any receiver who is used to catching touchdowns would do -- and then he'll let the kicker pin them back to the five yard line on the kickoff.

You need to get your kickers and punters straight.

j/k :)

Couple things with your list Hos:

You listed 7 total OT's, not 6
Baraka Atkins (DE) is missing
Robert Calloway (DT) is missing

Plus, I have two more UDFA's than you do (I'm trying to verify if they were actually signed):

Charley Hughlett, LS, Central Florida
Harland Gunn, G, Miami

This puts my total roster count at 89, one shy of the current limit.

Did I miss something? Is McBriar still injured?
McBriar was an Unrestricted Free Agent who was not offered a contract at this point. He hasn't been offered a contract by any team, probably because he is not 100% healthy yet after off season surgery. I would welcome him back once he is.

Thank you. Those two had not been added last I saw, but I've added them here in case and fixed my math, etc.

Id love to get McBriar back, guy is a stud punter when healthy. If we can get a center whether it's Nagy or a free agent or someone who will be cut in camp, this team is going to be very good if healthy!

People are going to laugh kind of like how I laughed when I first heard it

But I've heard two different people, one of them being S. Jones, really speak highly of KO..

Pretty much saying they see a different player than in years past
