1. Someone please hire Rob Ryan- this guy is a joke. Who designs a defense that has your #4 corner cover the other teams #1 the entire night. And Ball v. Nicks started long before Jenkins got hurt. And the next time the D gets a hit on Eli will be the first.

2. As soon as we got the ball back with the lead and 3 minutes to go I knew we had lost. I knew this was NE all over again and it was. Run, run, pass- very little time off the clock and punting to a team that is DOMINATING your defense. And then McBriar shanks one.

3. I say we make the Tyron switch RIGHT NOW- screw the offseason- I can't take another game with Doug "turnstile" Free at LT- where are all his apologists now? The guy flat out sucks at LT. And Red is making it worse by not giving him help.

4. TNew may be the worst corner in the league. His entire "technique" is to let the WR blow by him at the line and then chase him. Cutting him should be the first move of the offseason.

5. Romo is really, really good. It is a shame he has to put up with the crap surrounding him.

Doug Free's play this year has been a huge disappointment.

Totally regressed.

Newman has been bad for awhile, and last night should not be a surprise. The only shocking thing to me are his ardent supporters on this site, who have yet to come to his defense.

We were 6-10 last year, we are 7-6 this year with a ton of injuries. This off-season you will see quite a few players gone and new one's brought in. This team is improving, it's just not a SB contender yet. It takes time.

Garrett is a rookie HC, they make mistakes. Ryan is playing with trash outside of Ware, Lee and Ratliff. This team is headed in the right direction, it's just as fans we think they are better than they really are.

I'm sure New England fans are still saying they are the best and they beat the Deadskins by 7 and needing a last second INT to do it.

Any given week in the NFL, no team is dominant and to think we will be in all three phases week in and week out, is not going to happen. Not in today's NFL.

I say we redo the endzone and take out the helmets and just have the word Cowboys. Hey it would stop players from dissing the star. :(

It's like the Leonard Davis and Andre Gurode supporters. Or more recently the Bradie James supporters.

I don't get this. We were scared to death of losing this guy in free agency, and now I could care less if they cut his worthless butt.

This defense won't improve until we find another pass rusher, a beefy NT and 1 or 2 DB's who can cover. Tnew has lost a step these last 5 games or so and Jenkins is an injury waiting to happen........

Romo isnt without fault. He missed a wide open pass that would have ended the game. Most top flight QBs would have gotten that done.

Actually, this defense has more problems than just that. It's called a lack of fire. The Steelers and Ravens are "thugs" on the field (some maybe thugs OFF, but that's not the point). A defense is supposed to be mean. The Dallas D does NOT fit that mold. Give me A-Holes over choir boys any day of the week.

Romo can't even make one or two mistakes over the course of a game now? It isn't even like he threw a pick 6.

And Tony said after the game that Miles lost the ball in the lights.... Anyone blaming Romo needs to learn football. period. Felix fumbled. The defense gave up 30+ points.. Romo did his job. Special teams allowed a blocked kick. Our punter choked on an important punt. The list goes on and on..............

Everyone knows he has faults. But, HONESTLY, should he have even had to make that play when you are at home and leading by 12 with less than 6 minutes to go? Big Ben and Flacco normally don't EVER have to worry about that.

I agree. We need some nasty guys on defense who play with an attitude.

Not even sure if this is Romo's fault or Miles being behind a step due to being out with the hamstring injury.

Bingo!

1. Because outside of Ware, totally selling out and/or having to blitz a DB we can't pressure the quarterback worth a lick.

2. We have good 3-4 DE's especially if we move Ratliff there and our bigger d-line will not wear down as easy. We're not physical enough up front defensively.

3. Can't explain it any better about the secondary than you did.

** 4. Gotta get a real GM who knows personnel and understands the rigors of a season. Understands that teams need an adequate amount of grit and depth to go with spark and talent. A coaching staff that can prepare, out game plan and will their ruthless soldiers to victory in the harshest of conditions. If that GM wants a whole new coaching staff too then so be it.

Give me any body from this year's LSU and Alabama's Defenses. Courtney Upshaw could EASILY replace Spencer. Mark Barron would be a great QB on the D from the SS position. He makes plays. Josh Chapman is the Casey Hampton clone we need at NT. Morris Claiborne and Dre Kirkpatrick are the tough, man-to-man cover guys we need lining up opposite our best cover guy in Jenkins. I could go on........................
