So the first thought that came to your mind was Hostile having faith?

Let the guys nuts breathe.

Hey great add to the the thread, can hardly wait for your next ingenious contribution.

Two thoughts come to mind:

1) You must have been one of those who gave up

2) Mommy and daddy let you stay up late to use the PC last night huh?

Spencer has been a guy who has really impressed me of late. I don't know what his stats were like today, but he seemed to generate pressure, maintain his responsibilities on those Wildcat looks and even deflected that pass in the flat. He's making me eat some crow, thankfully.

His pass coverage and run defense have been stellar.

He has been getting close with the pass rush. It is too bad that has development has been slowed by those injuries which limited his snaps his first tow years.

Releasing Ellls probably took some of juice out of our pass rush but I think it has improved the overall team mood. It does leave us weak on experience at OLB but hopefully one of the draftees shows some promise. Butler has been devastating on STs and had that 2-sack game. I saw him on the field once yesterday late in the game but he didn't do too much.

his downfield blocking on run and pass plays is exceptional.

5) No other team in football could possibly have fans criticizing the offensive coordinator of a team playing as well as ours is. Its really pretty pathetic. According to some of you any play that doesnt work is Garrett's fault or a horrible call, and the one's that do somehow work are only the result of our guys overcoming his bad coaching or the other team laying down.

ummm no I'm still going to criticize him......we had the game wrapped up the entire 4th quarter and he still passed the ball.....the guy is way too in love with the pass

4th qtr play calling- 5 passes, 11 runs

Did you want him to run on every down?

Lawls...I think Romo and Roy will get it together. I think the problem lies that Roy is still trying to get a grip on the system. Alot of the routes are option routes that require the QB and WR to read the coverage and both guys have to know where to be at certain times. To me it looks like Roy is misreading coverages and the ball is being delivered at the right spots but the reciever is not at the right spot.

Either the Cowboys system is incredibly difficult or Roy is a complete imbecile, because Michael Crabtree didn't even have a training camp and Braylon Edwards was traded in mid-season and both have already had better days than Roy has in eighteen or so games.

When Roy Williams gets a pass his way it looks like two magnets that won't connect no matter what happens.

Ouch!

Talk about using stats to deflate an argument. :)

I was proud of the lack of penalties in the game. Dallas had 5 on the day and I can't think of any called on Flo.

I assume you're complaining about the play Romo fumbled on.

That was probably an attempt to get RW going. I'd say some of the others were also.

You can criticize Garrett for a lot of things, but I don't fault him for trying to build some confidence in RW. He's a mess right now.

8) For all those who were on the hate Crayton bandwagon, please let us know how you like that crow served. Two weeks in a row he's put away games with TD returns. He averaged almost 30 yds per return on 4 returns today. Might be leading the league in PR now.

I was one who called Crayton out in pre-season (and took a lot of flak for it I might add) but I never "hated" him. I called him out for good reasons, he was sucking mightily! What I find interesting is that once we replaced Crayton at WR and on returns he suddenly stepped it up and has been playing like we all though he would, at least on punt returns anyway.

No need for anyone to eat crow, Crayton has finally started playing like he should have been all along. Whatever it took to get him motivated I am happy that something has finally gotten through to him and he is playing well. His returns the last couple of weeks have been huge for us!

He still needs to step it up as a receiver and make some big plays though. he has one play of over 20 yards and that was in week-1. Since then he has had a couple of 18 yard receptions and one for 17 (yesterday) but that is it. He did catch a 5-yard TD last week but he is far from regaining his starting spot at WR.
