I know Spikes is dropping but I think there is a slim chance in hell that Dallas passes on him in the 3rd round.

I never like when mocks take trades in to consideration, but I've been noticing the new trend is eveyone thinking we'll trade down with Cleveland. I have a hard time believing that happens. Cleveland is cleaning house and Holmgren's going to want to get as many bodies as he can that fit what he's trying to do. Cleveland has too many holes to move up. I don't buy the McCoy talk. He's not going round 1, and I think Cleveland passes on him round 2. If they want him round 2, I see no reason why he wouldn't be at their pick.

Sorry for being a bit off topic, but I'm just tired of seeing "trade down for the Browns pick" in every mock.

Other than that, I like the guys and positions you took, though I've been having a hard time warming to the idea of McCluster in round 2.

True, but i have been thinking lets say we take Earl Thomas, i would then later take Micah Johnson, so our run defense would not need FS help because Johnson is great at the run

The Browns management has openly talked about 'being active' on draft day. JJ and Holmgren have traded with one another a lot in the past. It's not so far fetched.

Holmgren has also said he won't draft a QB in round 1, and he'd have a hard time pulling the trigger in round 2. They'll be active, but I don't see them moving up since they have so many needs. They have a ton of picks, but I think moving up into the first doesn't make much sense in a deep draft.
