Thanks, BP. I'm not a musician and I can't play any other instrument or standard songs, But the Indian music just seems to flow on its own accord. I have many tapes of Indian flute players I listen to and I can't play their stuff either, not even the traditional songs, but I make up my own songs and people rave about them and ask for a CD. So, soon I will record a CD.
Every year I play a free concert on the winter solstice at the Paint Rock Pictograph site in west central Texas (On that day they let people in free) while a sharp spear of light penetrates to the center of a special pictograph at local true noon - it doesn't do that any other time of year. That's just one of Paint Rocks many astronomical-related paintings that are almost a thousand years old. It was an astronomical observatory like none other among the North American Indians and has pictographs depicting the night sky in winter,/spring, 2 different supernovae, solar eclipses and other things related to astronomy and solstices and equinoxes and such. It feels like a holy place and I always play well there and it seems as though the spirits there are watching and listening.
There are no Kokopelli images at Paint Rock, but I was born under the sign of Kokopelli and have had to learn the secret about him on my own as there was none to teach me. In fact, I did not know I was born under his sign until I learned the secret about him and then it became obvious. One day I will make a website about that.
Believe it or not, that paragraph actually makes sense if you think about it.
Good luck to you.
