I decided to use a simulator this time. PFN has updated rankings and it is the most realistic. They do not have the comp picks in, so I traded future picks for 99 (3rd) and 140 (4th) for our expected selections.

Trade 10 to Chicago for 20 (1), 52 (2), 83 (3) (Trey Lance)

Farley is off the board as the 49ers traded up to get him. Surtain was still on the board, but the that package was too good to pass up.

20-Horn CB (don't see a big drop-off from him and Surtain)
44-Grant FS (I'm on the Grant train, might have to do a small trade up to get him or Moehrig)
52-Basham DE/DT (both the 3T's are gone and don't see Cowboys taking a 1 this high. Here is your 4T and nickel inside rusher.)
75-Cox LB (excellent coverage linebacker)
83-Shelvin DT (here is your 1 Tech, might have to flip slots with Hudson here)
99c-Hudson T (our developmental Tackle)
109-Rouche EDGE (some believe he reminds them of Darryl Tapp, a former Seahawk rusher)
140-Taylor CB (another big/long corner to develop)

I’m just not feeling CBs and safeties. Every single secondary they draft outside of Deion has looked like a scrub.

Fine by me. I like the positions targeted.. would be great if they could actually fill those holes in the draft.

Two picks I like is the big anchor Shelvin next to Cox a nickel LB candidate. Fix the middle should be the theme, and these picks would help.
