FA
WR Travis Frederick - a key piece missing is the vertical threat/speedster. Dallas addresses is here.
RB Lamar Miller- better suited in zone and also adds that ability to break long TDs.
CB Trumaine Jones - leaving Carr and Claiborne is a must. Probably the most important offseason signing.
------------------------------
Odds are JF will end up in Dallas as the back up QB after some rehab both personally and in the media.

#1 Titans- Laremy Tunsil OT
#2 Cleveland - Jared Goff QB
#3 San Diego- Ronnie Stanely OT - probably the hardest to predict now. I don't think Bosa fits their defense well as an OLB or DE and they may go with Ramsey for CB or FS, but the most value is at OT and protecting their QB. Stanely is an elite prospect with high character at the LT. Fluker didn't work out at OT. They need a lot of help.
#4 Cowboys - here (IMO) the top prospects are Mackensie Alexander and Bosa. Alexander is underrated because of a lack of stats but is better than Ramsey as a CB and a safety is not worth a top 5 pick. Bosa can play and has played all 4 positions on the DL including 1 tech but is best suited where Dallas spent a lot of money on Crawford at the 3Tech or RDE. So DT or Shutdown Corner? Will Scandrick be recovered?

1st #4 Mackensie Alexander Clemson I'm more sold on Alexander being a shutdown corner than the impact Bosa will have on DL.

2nd #34 Jonathan Bullard DT Florida - can play all spots but played 1Tech the most. Can hold the point and get penetration.

3rd #67 Germain Ifedi OT Texas AM - can play both tackle positions. Free with recent injuries is a big question mark. Chaz Green did nothing to give the team any confidence. There are no strong back ups. Ifedi has immediate starter quality and can step right in and give Free competition at RT. With Romo as a fragile QB this pick is a must.

4 Javon Hargrave DT South Carolina State
4 Deon Jones OLB LSU

6 Jaydon Mickens WR University of Washington(Dallas needs to get over their measurables and pick playmakers.
6 Chris Brown WR Notre Dame
6 Jeff Driskel QB Louisiana State

I have a hard time seeing them take a 5:10 corner at 4. Deon Jones is your best pick.

Ok...I"ll play along.

Love Mackensie Alexander...but not @ 4. He is the best CB in the draft...but we have bigger needs.

I don't see Germain Ifedi lasting until round 3...but I agree Doug Free has to go.

4 Javon Hargrave DT South Carolina State....decent prospect...but wouldn't burn a 4th on him.
4 Deon Jones OLB LSU....I've got a 3rd round grade on him

6 Jaydon Mickens WR University of Washington(Dallas needs to get over their measurables and pick playmakers....like Mickens
6 Chris Brown WR Notre Dame.....we can do better
6 Jeff Driskel QB Louisiana State....Would hate this pick. he's a quitter...literally.

WR Travis Benjamin....sign me up
RB Lamar Miller- .....Don't waste your money. Draft a mid round guy like Drake..and strike it big in 2017 when the RB class is loaded.
CB Trumaine Jones....JAG..but I can see us looking @ a guy like this.

I think the only DB that should be considered at 4 is Ramsey and even then don't want at 4. I like really Bullard. I like Ifedi but someone will take in the 2nd and move him to guard. the rest of the draft is meh but thats how our drafts usually look after the 2nd day.

How does Alexander get into the top 5?

Ramsey does not have the lateral quickness to be a very good cb. He could become a great safety but not worth top five.

Alexander is 5'11 1/2 height is not an issue. His quickness and footwork are elite. Watch his tape. No one even threw at him. He shutdown every top receiver he faced.

Hargreaves was exposed against taller / fast receivers in the playoffs showing his limitations.

After everything that has happened with Manziel, how anyone could think he would be here, let alone us being the odds on landing spot blows my mind. Why anyone still believes that is beyond me.

Because safeties aren't impactful enough like, say, cornerback to be warranted that high.

Lord have mercy. These people live though it and still don't get it.

Are you recruiting for your lynch mob for when Ramsey is announced at 4?

LOL at people thinking Manziel is coming here.

I also said Trumaine Jones when I meant Trumaine Johnson CB free agent from the Rams. A great zone coverage CB with size to match up against the bigger WRs in the league.
