thoughts: Went BPA virtually every pick. Hated going Evans but it paid off when Crichton was there in r2. Loved my last 6 picks. All insane r7 values imho. Wish my r3 OL was a pure Guard but it is what it is and at best available had to go that route.

You got a lot of talent in both drafts. If Evans is available, you almost have to pick him; although, in the real draft I think another team would offer a premium to trade up for him.

I think you could do better on all of your OL picks.

FYI - They're compensatory picks not supplemental.

yup if trades were offered at chart value i'd be moving down in r1.

and i didn't like the OL value in the mocks but wont argue there may be other guys i underrate.
certainly didnt study ol as i did last off-season.

and of course you are correct about compensatory v supplemental.

Timmy Jernagen will not make it out of the first round .

he was in this mock so i had to take him.
every mock plays out a bit different but i tend to agree with you that he is gone in the 1st.

Quite a few sims have Jernigan falling to the 2nd round. I don't think there's anyway it happens in real life though.

You and I disagree a lot but I appreciate your posts. I know that you put effort into real football topics.

The more "Jerry sucks" posts that I see the more I realize the value of real football related posts, even the ones I disagree with.

We go at each other pretty hard in threads because we are both passionate about the subject.
I absolutely respect that. And I read all your posts because they will say something actually relevant and football related.
You bring a ton of legwork and meat to any debate which is why I'd certainly be looking to hire people like you were I Jerry or Stephen Jones

You need passionate and even argumentative people to get at the right decisions. No one needs yes men around them.

I disagree :D

j/k....I like both of the mocks that you have in here and would walk away from the draft very happy with either...but, like the first much better, likely because I think that Chris Smith has the potential to be very good and the other 5 out of the first 6 could start for us at some point

Group hug, guys. I read every one of each of your posts, for the same reasons. Always informed, always thoughtful.

I'll echo that sentiment as well. Football savvy posters are few and far between. I'll read either side of an argument and can be swayed if it is laid out logically and passionately.

Kudos to everyone who can really talk football and not just gripe about the current state of things.

Come to think of it, this is actually a thread full of the posters I like to read, with none of the guys I just have to read to moderate content. :)

Yeah, threads started by jterrell tend to bring out the better football posters because what he writes is almost always quality posts.
