The problem with the entire Parcellls era has been that Dallas doesn't close well. If you'd like to place a bet using historical trends, take Detroit this week straight up. Why? Look at the Cowboys regular season record after the traditional thanksgiving game since '03.

2003 2-3
2004 2-3
2005 2-3

2006 2-2

Is it a conditioning issue? An issue with failing to adapt as the season goes on?

Interesting... but doesnt mean a darn thing.... games still have to be played and the results are not a given

I dont know the answer either. I think last year it was injuries and a poor kicking game. I think this year it has been a number of issues, mondays being the more talented and superior team won.

The giants have the same problem.

Or maybe just a season of film to watch, with the knowledge that Bill isn't going to adjust the play calling to compensate for people figuring out his scheme.

Watch what the Cowboys do, come up with an answer for it and watch them lose.

It's ironic that all you ever hear about Parcells' teams is how they are known for strong December pushes yet the Cowboys have shown no such thing in Bill's time here. The '98 Jets were the last team of his to finish strong. Makes me wonder where that hype comes from.

I always remember Jimmy Johnson saying, after his Dolphins were smoked in the playoffs, that he worked his team too hard in training camp and that they were tired. Curious if Parcells works this team too hard in training camp and by the end of the season they have nothing left. I don’t know, just a thought.
