Gives Dallas a replacement for Ware. Very athletic and is still getting better as he's only played defense for only 2 yrs. Quick off the edge and has the power being a former RB. Has played LB at UCLA so he could be moved around at the LEO aswell allowing Mincey to come in for that extra passrusher on nickle downs.
RD2
Davante Adams WR Fresno State
Big build WR who can play inside or outside. Can challenge TW for the start opposite Dez. Can stretch the field and is a nightmare in the redzone for CBs.
RD3
Telvin Smith LB Florida State
Very fast LB with the ability to cover. Is basically a SS playing LB. Can play in sub packages that have Carter in some spots where his weaknesses show. Playing that nickle LBer on the outside. There could be alot of depth drafting a player like this. He could end up starting at the WILL moving Carter over to the SAM. Getting Carter back closer to the LOS would be a great thing.
RD4
Cyril Richardson G Baylor
Had some problems in practices in SR Bowl but if you watch him in a game the guy is a monster. Backup both G spots and get a better sense of balance working with Callahan.
RD5
Phillip Gaines CB Rice
Tall CB who is blazing fast. Good in space. Would be better playing in a zone scheme. Plays good in space, and can play off the WR turn his hips and run. Starter in 2015
RD6(COMP)
Ben Gardner DL Stanford
Can play SDE and the 3TECH for the Cowboys. Player with a big motor and never takes plays off. Straight hustle guy who Marinelli would love.
RD7(CHI)
Ryan Hewitt FB Stanford
Another hustle guy who can give you what you need from a FB and be cheaper than what Dallas has now. ST guy too.
RD7
Eathyn Manumaleuna DT BYU
Solid guy who would be a rock playing the 1tech in a rotation.
RD7(KC)
Jonotthan Harrison C Florida
Ability to play all 3 spots inside. Athletic for his size.
RD7(COMP)
Jonathon Dowling FS Western Kentucky
Big rangy guy who can develop but play on ST
RD7(COMP)
Jeff Mathews QB Cornell
Could end up being a solid backup. Has talent
RD7(COMP)
Marcus Heit LS Kansas State
Some people dont know how important a long snapper is. This guy did it in college.
