7 weeks in. 10 games remaining (11 for those that had a bye week)

Weekly Disclaimer on this statistical ranking (unlike other biased rankings, no personal opinions)
This does NOT say which QB is "the best"....ONLY how they have played so far this year.

"Combined Stats" just means using two key stats that --when combined--almost always point to the QBs having the best season (the eventual All-Pros, MVPs, etc)

Those stats are:
1) Standard QB Passer rating
2) Total TDs (Rushing and Passing) - Total Turnovers (Fumbles lost and Interceptions)

Here are the QB Rankings using Combined Stats after 7 weeks:
(* have had bye week, ** missed games )
  1. Murray
  2. Stafford
  3. Brady
  4. Wilson **
  5. Rodgers
  6. Allen*
  7. Prescott* (tied 7th)
  8. Cousins* (tied 7th)
  9. Burrow
  10. Winston*
  11. Wentz
  12. Herbert*
  13. Carr (tied 13th
  14. Hurts (tied 13th)
  15. Mahomes
  16. Bridgewater
  17. Ryan*
  18. Jackson (tied 18th)
  19. Mayfield** (tied 18th)
  20. M Jones (tied 20th)
  21. D Jones (tied 20th)

Just noticed the irony that Prescott and Cousins are tied right now.
And their teams face off this week.
Both have been in the top 10 all year so far, I think

Waiting for Cousins to have that bad game, but it hasn't happened yet (has played 6 games)

Go Cowboys, Go Dak
:flagwave:

Seeing Mahomes at 15 and Jackson 18 is odd..........
No doubt, it's really odd. Both are normally way up there.....especially Mahomes
He's dropping like a rock the last few weeks and is having a rough go of it.

Jackson is a player, I think, that these rankings can sometimes underrate.
But to be fair, he has turned the ball over a ton this year and has fewer combined TDs than most QBs as well.
He's 18th in Total TDs-Turnovers and 17th in Passer Rating.

He was at the very top of these ranking his MVP year though, so it still held up.

Bye weeks can help or hurt, depending on who the other guys play.

Usually bye weeks
--help those w/ extremely high QB rating, as it's hard to maintain that.
--hurt the good QBs in the TD-Turnover differential, because good QBs usually add to that total even if its just +1.

So, for example...Russ Wilson missing games
--helped because his league-leading Passer rating will stay that way. He'll remain #1 b/c his early-season rating was not sustainable
--hurt because his differential can't go up (while others are) while he's not playing. Since he was ner the top, he'll drop each week.
So, he's been dropping slightly
