Here's what I'm wishing for:

1. Jaylen Ramsey. The other Jalen from Notre Dame is also a possibility, but a top flight safety who can play corner? Versatility, Too good to pass up and will effectively send Wilcox to special teams forever.

2. DT. A fat boy who commands a double team

3. QB prospect.

4. WR with some real speed.

5. A new offensive line coach.

6. A young RB.

I can live with another versatile DB. Not sure how deep the draft is with DB's this year.
My list...
rounds 1 and 2, in either order...QB of future, stud RB
3, LB / DT
4, speed WR

New secondary coach, true dedicated DL coach, new RB, WR coaches. Possibly OL, but think Pollack gets another year.

I wonder about Pollack. Not that I know anything, but the OL seems to have regressed under him this year. How much of that, if any, is on him? I don't know, but the players remained the same with the exception of Collins and yet their overall performance sure seems to have declined.

Yes I know what you mean.
And some may see this as an excuse or not. They built this OL up as if it was indestructible. More so from the media and the fans. But it did not help their attitude was that any RB could run behind this line.

But remove, at the time a legit RB, as I still say, DMC should have been the starter over Randle. But more so, removed a NFL top 5 WR, and of course Romo, the heart and sole of the offense.
No OL will perform like expected.

Also take into account coming out of TC, 4 / 5 of the OL was some banged up.
Free still recovering from surgery, Martin a neck injury, Leary a groin pull [Collins still learning], Smith with a pec muscle issue.
All that is behind them now, and with DMC in there, they are playing better.
But with no Romo, no respect in the passing game, no Dez a non factor with what ever QB they trot out there.

People will want to blame Pollack, but I don't. This is why I can see him getting another year. But as I said, I won't whine either if replaced.

Callahan was notorious for his attention to detail. It just seems like that is what is missing here. It is one thing to have a great collection of players, but if they are not being ridden hard, they can fall into bad habits. There have been plenty of examples this year where Tyron Smith has got sloppy, Martin has fallen off his blocks etc. Maybe Pollack is not a detail person, who knows. It is clear though that we have something absent.

I wouldn't argue with a single point you bought up here. QB/WR injuries added to the lack of a decent RB for a good portion of the season would have to impact the OL. I don't know much about much, but the one thing I feel good about is this OL going forward. They're very solid and will be the foundation of this team for years to come, IMHO.

Jazzcat brought up what I felt were some very valid possibilities, but you do, too. I think you're very on point with the lack of attention to detail, and attention to detail is usually a function of coaching.

We definitely need a new secondary coach. I'm not sure I've seen anything that validates Henderson's employment here.

As far as the draft, I don't know too much about any of the players coming out yet, but I'd definitely like a running back as high as the 2nd. Someone that can make an immediate impact like Gurley has.

Safety and corner are needs.

Hell, we need everything except a new waterboy; he's been a real go-getter that trained hard this offseason.

I would start there if you are looking for a defensive scapegoat.

Not sure if scapegoat is what I'm looking for. We all know the biggest problem. I just want the coaches like he and Bissacia gone, because their units continue to suck.

1. A GM who is sober and actually is in the building a few days a week and could be fired for thinking Weden could play.
2. A Head Coach who does not kick a field goal down 20+ points.
3. A New Playbook.
4. A New OC
5. A QB of the future. (1st Rd)
6. A WR that can take the top off a defense (2nd Rd)
7. Workhouse type RB (3rd)
8. A pair of young Safties. (4-5)
9. A pair of young CBs. (6-7)

I want my pain and suffering check to finally come. It's been 20 years and i don't smile much anymore.........I keed:(

A coach who has the minerals to go for it on fourth when your season is on the line... A young QB, RB, safety and DL. Oh and a young WR who can actually get open down the field.

Not interested in a QB this year because I don't think there is one worth drafting, but I'd like to get one in the next couple/three years.

As far as over the next offseason:

I'd like to get a RB. I'd like for us to finally get rid of Hayden and get an NFL DT to get beside Tyrone. I'd like to start the rebuilding process of the secondary. I'd like to fire Jason Garrett.

1. A high pick (top five)
2. Take that high pick and trade down to net two high first rounders
3. Take Billings (DT) and Elliott (RB).
4. Use the #2 pick on a guy like Carson Wentz if available
5. Booze

A head coach who can manage the clock better then a 12 year old kid playing Madden would be cool as well.

Johnny Manziel and Carson Wentz. Wish we'd at least get one of those two guys.

QB to develop
1 Tech DT
Consistent Pass rush from our young guys (gregory, & Lawrence)
Real DB's
An impactful RB
An honest approach to the offseason by management.
