I want to see Abandikanda do it again (and in practice) before I hand a spot to him. Once again, let's see how Blue responds to adversity.

I am not sure what to make of the rb situation after Williams, sure we will figure it out by week 1. Blue did look good in that last game against the Giants in 2025. The competition is good this year.

Running Blue between tackles consistently is not using his skill set fully.

Look at the screens, runs to the edge that's where he'll stand out. Also he played early here OL was having trouble moving people and making holes.

That said I am not confident the RB room is complete yet.

Yeah, the stats don't tell the whole story but I'd still put Davis in the lead as of right now. I'm glad there are two more games to figure it out. And if it's still not figured out then you might need to trade for Trey Benson or someone in a similar kind of situation.

I’m not really sold on any of the RBs to be honest. Javonte is ok but he’s not fantastic either. He’s just a solid NFL back, nothing special either.

Gibbs: 4.2
Taylor: 4.1

Even some other workhorse backs like Saquon and Cook had 3.5 or more

2.9 ypc is, as I mentioned, 30th, so there are 29 other guys

And he was absolutely not 6th in red zone YPC, he was 6th in total yards … at 2.9 ypc which demonstrates the problem because we fed it to him 54 times (5th) and got little to show for it.

His red zone performance is emblematic of the team’s red zone performance

Yeah, I wasn't interested in arguing about it, but the red zone negatives about JW seemed weird. JW was a revelation, w/ 11 TDs and very hard running. His 11 TDS rushing was 8th best in the NFL. And only 2 guys had more than 15, so there was a cluster for 3rd w/ 8 guys having 10-14 TDs rushing.

He and Pickens were massive adds and bright spots. Weird is correct

It's already been pointed out here but it's worth repeating. If you want to differentiate between Blue and Mafah, you have to give Mafah more carries. His sample size was pathetic... only 4 carries. That's not giving him a fair chance. And neither Blue or Mafah are the RB2 in my opinion, that's Davis from what I saw.

Mafah got hurt.
