Postgame Thoughts

If he returns!!
 hey, bro! Here's yer' chance to start a 3 week long first page thread ,,,er,,,I donno? ,,, like if GARRETT had properly prepared his players, we could just forego the ritual of tuning in to watch,,,er ,Or some other Brilliant casing-liner you could possibly concocto_O

We have a three game win streak and the negativity on this thread is unbelievable. People are still fixated on changing coaches or how much Dak “sucks”.

If this team finds a way to beat the Saints next week, they’re contenders. If they don’t, they’re still either 10-6 or 9-7, and NFC East Champions.

If you’d rather they lose, then you’re a loser. Sorry.

Beasley is Mr. fair Catch. He is useless back there.
Back it the **** up, Bro!,,, as while its easily perceived as ' useless ',,, one thing that #11 DUDE DON'T DO is allow that BALL to slide on past his CASING-LINER:starspin:

My meaning behind a clean pocket is more along the lines of a pocket where he can step into passes. If you watch, he tends to throw crappy balls when he doesn't take a full stride toward the target. I'm not saying this will make him Aaron Rodgers. But he requires more than the average QB in regard to being surrounded by activity which prevents his good mechanics.

Romo stated in the film A Football Life his college coach was ragging on him about the delivery point and how it effected his throwing. He evidently worked on this all off season and was able to find a trajectory where he could successfully complete the throw from all platforms.

Dak doesn't have that talent.

I believe a prime example was the throw to Beasley in the 4th quarter when he one hopped it in.

,,, Ya Man,,,we ain't even got the chance to " knock hell fire outta' New Orleans cracked backside downspout ",,,,er,,, YETo_O,,, either:thumbup:

Agreed.

One thing that bothers me especially heading into NO is that we seem to give up too many third and longs on defense.
Agreed! With Kamara running back punts we need to make sure he doesn't get a crease. He can house the kind of huge returns we gave up to the two no namers.

Very happy how a young team didn't fold up the tent today.

Would rather have Darius Jackson or Noah Brown as primary returners.

Beasley is strictly the fair catch guy.

Or we could have just held on to Switz.

No lets put someone back there who can make plays and not fumble. It's pretty pitiful that we have nobody on this team that can return punts. Beasley is back there for one reason. He has sure hands. Can't believe this is even a debate. Most teams do have something in their punt return game. We have nothing. How many times today where we backed up near the end zone?
of course I get jealous too when I see what other teams special teams can do but I'm just happy we're not fumbling it my expectations for Punt and kick returners isn't that high

Dak Prescott: 9.3 yards/attempt, 3 TD, 0 turnovers. 121.6 passer rating.

3 straight wins. 3 straight turnover-free games.

Oh, and on pace for his 3rd straight winning season.

Winners win. Dak is 28-15.

Yup, and our regular Dak haters have been quiet for the past couple weeks....Too bad and so :( they can’t join us as we celebrate First Place in the NFCE....NOT!

Linehan got conservative with the play calling late in the 1st half when they had us backed up near our goal line which is kind of understandable.

The O is a work in progress and it will struggle at times when plays are designed to keep Dak in the pocket. We all know he is not very accurate and has other issues but he can make things happen as well. He reminds me of a better version of Tyrod Taylor.

D was solid for the most part but got gassed late in the game. Those turnovers they forced were beautiful and they will need more of them soon.

I want nothing more than for Dak to be successful. It would be great if he was the franchise QB. But what I do not get is how all of you "supporters" can tolerate his blatant errors each and every week. He holds the ball for too long. He cannot make quick reads. He absolutely misses wide open receivers every game (Two TDs were missed yesterday to Brown and Gallup), He looks like a deer in the headlights on almost every throw. Even the few good throws he had to Cooper were BEHIND the receiver.

I hope I am wrong about the guy, but what I see is what a lot of people see...including Aikman and the whole FOX sports crew.

Honestly, we aren’t gonna threaten any playoff teams with this offense. Passing game is too limited right now. I’ll take a W on thanksgiving though.

Oh, 180 yards from Coop got the attention of a LOT of teams!

I do not own the franchise, so I have no choice but to support this team and it’s direction. I’ve seen worse i.e. Ryan Leaf, Clint Stoerner, Chad Hutchinson etc. and I watched every one of those guys stink it up.

All in all, if Dak does not move this team closer to a championship, he’ll eventually be shown the door. I’m patient enough to wait, this is a game and my life doesn’t depend on it.
