Good list but I would consider Marion Barber III the best offensive player we had .. and I'm a Romo fan so there is no agenda with me saying that. I'd definitely put Romo second.

Disagree with Akin Ayodele. It would go to Gurode, TNew or even Colombo for me. Ayodele had some pretty hefty coverage issues early in the year.

Gurode's play was vastly overrated this season. Some people were suggesting he go to the pro bowl. That was ridiculous. He was good, but wasn't even the most dependable on the O-line.

although barber is a great player, i don't think he's our best offensive player. he's only in the game for about half the offensive plays.

i'd put him in "most reliable late in the 4th quarter"

Getting cleated in the head by a 320 lb man, gets stitched up big time, and does not miss a game...

I don't know who you're referring to as the most dependable, the tackles played strong this year, except for the usual brain fart by Flo...

I thought Gurode more than held his own.

Biggest surprise - Tony Romo.

Biggest disappointment - Drew Bledsoe.

Most reliable - Terence Newman.

Best offensive player - Tony Romo.

Best defensive player - Demarcus Ware.

Best special teams player - Might seem lame, but I'm going with Miles Austin.

Team MVP - Tony Romo.

Best moment - Game winning FG vs. the Giants.

worst moment - Tony Romo botching the snap on the game winning 19 yd field goal.

Weakest link - I'd give this award to the entire offensive line.

-biggest suprise... marc colombo(played a helluva season)

-biggest disappointment.....roy williams(although he did have 7 takeaways, he was beat alot this year, especially by the Tight Ends...... he needs to elevate his game next season, plus he didnt even have that many bone jarring sportscenter highlight reel HITS!!
-2nd..............Bradie James(He was always picked on across the middle, and his coverage skills are so far below par that it is unbelievable!!! He needs to work on his coverage skills all offseason)

-most reliable......akin ayodele(consistently making tackles, always around the ball)

-best offensive player....tony romo(was 6-4 as a starter and lead us to the playoffs)

-best defensive player....demarcus ware

-best special teams player...Mat McBriar
-2nd....Miles Austin(He exploded when Tyson went out, and gave us good field position alot, always started from beyond the 30, which was good)

-team mvp.......DeMarcus Ware- Always had consistent pressure on the quarterback, he was exciting and made big plays. 71 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 int, 2 defensive TD's.... This kid is special!!

-best moment...... First team to knock off the Undefeated Colts 21-14.
-
2nd........ Game Winner vs. NYG Automatica Gramatica

-worst moment...... Yesterday.......i cried
-2nd.................Washington.....i cried

-weakest link...... the whole coaching staff(fire Zimmer, fire OL coach, hire Wayne Nunnely as DC, and hire Falcons OL coach, who was recently let go...)

Offensive MVP:Tony Romo.He gave new life to the team.He needs to work on ball protection for next year.He should be alright.MB3 was good too.

Defensive MVP:Ware.Got 11.5 sacks despite the scheme that handicaps talent.T New was good too, until the last game.

Biggest surprise:Marc Colombo. He played better than expected.

Biggest disappointment:The pass defense was the worst EVER.The OL needs to get their act together.

Best game:Beating the Colts.

Worst defeat:at Washington..that one hurt,Detroit hurt too.

Best Moment:The arrival of Tony Romo at Carolina.

Worst moment:The fumbled snap at Seattle.

Showed promise:Bobby Carpenter.They finally let him play.Miles Austin,Sam Hurd.

Needs to go:Rivera,Zimmer,Parcells.

Needs to improve or else:James,Roy Williams, pass defense, pass rush.

biggest disappointment.....roy williams

most reliable...... terance newman

best offensive player....tony romo

best defensive player....demarcus ware

best special teams player... miles austin (by default)

team mvp....... marion barber

best moment...... benching bledsoe and starting romo

worst moment...... the new orleans saints blowout. up until that time, i think most cowboys fans thought they would get the second seed in the NFC playoffs. But that game exposed the Cowboys for a truly weak defense and secondary.

weakest link ...... defensive pressure [/QUOTE]
