Potential TE fix

Its crazy they gave him that money, especially considering how high they drafted Howard last year. Howard even had a respectable rookie year
That’s exactly why they might be willing to depart with him. Just a thought. I’d liove to have him.

It seems like Tampa Bay is trying to get O.J. more involved in their offense. I wonder if our FO would be interested in Cameron Brate? He’s better than anything we have by far.
The bucs just gave brate decent money.... imo our fix needs to come in draft next year.

I drafted him on my fantasy team last year... wanted him this year but he went a little early... guynis a beast.
I actually drafted him this year because I missed out on alot of TE's, and took him for the TE1 upside. Ive been pleasantly surprised, and I think his production will continue to climb

Wow , is that accurate ? I've heard of the guy but it's not like he's a household name with an All-Pro history..............
Brate is a very good player, but I’d rather daft a te early in draft next year, we can’t have a guy making that money right now at that position.

I actually picked him up on waivers this week as my backup to Graham. I need to see a few more games before I think about starting him.

How is his contract structured? How much is guaranteed? The total amount is rarely relevant.

18M is guaranteed. After 2019 he is almost paid off of guaranteed money. He has a pretty cap friendly contract.

Changing our TE won't change much. The plays are the same, block, block, run 8 yards and wait for the ball. That's more scheme than individual ability.

That’s one of the reasons they might be willing to part with him. He’d give Dak a good, experienced target.
But we would have to pay that contract and then he doesn't produce it will give the fans something else to complain about. We didn't even throw to the TEs last week, personally I rather see more receivers on the field and use TE sparingly

They just paid him, not sure we want to spend that much money on him.
