Potential Trade candidates per Broaddus

After Jerry’s comments about a trade or 2 being in the works BB asked around and got the below names as potential trade targets for the Cowboys. Not saying we’re definitely in on these guys but his sources indicates he’d are guys they’re hearing could be available and that would make sense for us.

Jalen Ramsey
Rashad White
Travis Etienne
Jameson Williams
George Pickens

Not a lot of needle movers IMO but I do like the idea of Etienne eating a fresh start. Good young player.

Not a fan…seems to be suspended / miss time a lot and isn’t a good route runner.

Dude has 1300 yards in 3 seasons as a 1st
round pick. Lions are probably trying to sell high knowing he’s not living up to his draft status.

I really like his ability to stretch the field. If the Lions were willing to give us Williams and another pick to move up to 12, I would be interested. Yes, there is risk involved with Williams, but he is very talented.

Honestly I think Golden is a reach at 12 but I’d rather just keep the pick and take him than trade it for Williams. Williams has had 3 years now and you basically know what you’re getting.

I think Golden would bring that same speed and could give us 1300 yards in 3 years…

Just not a needle mover worth the price IMO.

I would rather have 28 a 4th and Williams.

I wouldn’t…at 28 you’re missing out on a 1st round grade and basically settling for a WR2 that ain’t that good IMO.

No way…he’s a head case and would
horrible for the locker room.

The only guys I’d be willing to give up high draft capital for are guys that I know come in and are a high end #2 day 1 without character concerns / reliability issues.

Unfortunately, many receivers act like divas. Pickens is another level, total headcase and locker room cancer.

Say we miss out on receiver after the 1st two rounds, I could see a trade for a veteran #2 starter. Any player traded will have his warts, question is if he would be a good fit with our offense and team.

Garret Wilson is probably a pipe dream…but man he’d be epic. Guys like him, Juedy etc would be good targets but they’re probably not available.

Jameson Williams would be the perfect 2 for CeeDee. Pickens is better than any receiver the Cowboys could draft. Ramsey would be our best cornerback and Etienne would be a better than any 3rd rounder we could get at running back.

Ramsey would probably cost very little in draft compensation. It would be an Amari Cooper type trade. The question is can you do something with his contract?

Problem is Wilson wants a Lamb type of extension and he is nowhere near that type of player.

At this point in his career I think he’s a good not great player.

He could definitely play for us but at what cost…15-20 mil? Not worth it IMO.

Adding Ramsey you would have to rework his contract. I think he could be a good #2 CB. All depends if he will play for #2 CB money. A couple more years of guaranteed money may entice him to take that kind of deal

I don’t know Pickens on a personal level like you do so to pass judgement on someone I don’t know would be disingenuous.

Word is they have soured on Diggs. He might not be long for Dallas.
