Walked into the office this morning and a coworker came up and asked me to stand on one leg (my right one) and hold out my arms. He pushed down on my left arm and I lost my balance and had to put my foot down.

He then reached over a pulled at my shirt pocket - which had my cell phone in it. Then he asked I stand on one leg again, and he once again pushed down on my left arm...this time I kept perfect balance and didn't have to put the other leg down.

At that time he reached in my pocket, and pulled out a small wristband that had some type of holograph on it. He had slipped this in earlier. He said a friend had got him using these, which are suppose to help your "Biofield" and it's improved his golf swing a ton. (This guy is a pretty good scratch golfer).

Anyone ever use these? I'm thinking about giving them a try. I think they're around $20.00 dollars.

My response would normally be the same, but it really did make a difference. Crazy..i know

Hmmm...do you think it made a difference because the first time you were caught off guard but the second time you knew what to expect???

If I wouldn't have tried it, I'd be saying the same thing. There's some pro's out there using them as well...

Just looking to see if anyone had tried them...wasn't looking for dumb remarks from the message board tough guys.

Placebos work sometimes too.

I want to see this test done in reverse.

Of course, that theory doesn't work here at all, since he didn't know it was in his pocket. This is just good ol' fashioned silliness.

Then I have to believe that the Biofield is real that a simple device can alter a spiritual field and not a higher power so I will just gloss over that part because it becomes a relgious debate and lets just avoid that part.

Then lets go on balance I study Martial arts you have all the Ki energy (aka Biofield) stuff people talk about it like it is mystical in some arts but it is not; everything is based on breathing; footwork which is you balance and using body mechanics to generate force and of course your focus.

See what happen was the first time you where not focused on the task at hand and he caught you off guard in Aikido we call it taking your mind. Liek was stated already the person said the next time you knew what was coming so you adjusted your body and was focused on the task at hand. So it is a scam just liek the test like someone said if he had put it in your pocket 1st you would have still been off balance.

The reason some athletes wear stuff like that they need something to focus on or use it as a frame to do something consistently. It helps them with a frame of mind and nothing more.
