The Cowboys are currently ranked 4th. Based on this schedule and the current power rankings, the Cowboys should be favored in every remaining game except the game in Foxboro against the Patriots (1st).

Of the other teams ranked in the top 10 of NFL Power Rankings, the Cowboys have home games against the Rams (3rd), the Packers (5th), and the Bill's (6th), and the Vikings (9th). They get the Bills on a short week at Thanksgiving, and the Rams after a 10-day rest. In addition to the Patriots, the Cowboys play the Saints (10th) and the Bears in away games. The Cowboys are already 3 point favorites in the Saints game, and no one believes that the Bears offense under Trubisky can keep pace with the current Cowboys offensive juggernaut.

This is NOT a prediction that the Cowboys will win every game in which they are favored. This is the NFL, and any given Sunday... But it is an indication that the Cowboys are set up nicely to become the top seed in the NFC. Now that the schedule is getting a bit tougher, we'll figure out soon if their current Power Ranking status is justified.

Great info!

But this determination in handicapping is based on the current standings which are subject to change for the rest of the season.

If Brees was healthy this would probably be a pickem game or Saints -1 to-3. And if Egirls get it together and we slip a little they could be slightly favored in Philthy. And even the Rams at home pending where we are at that time could be a pick em game.

Way too early to be making these speculations at this time. But certainly if every team remains on current course this could bear out.

I’d argue the 1st place schedule along with the North ( all with winning records)looking good presents a tough challenge to obtain the #1 seed. Just look at our stretch of games beginning in Week 10.

There’s 8 undefeated teams currently in NFL and we have all but two on our schedule ( SF & KC). The good news is winning our division appears to be more likely.

I agree. This schedule is simply not easy by any means.

I know there is a lot that we don't know about teams right now, but comparing the Rams schedule to ours, it sure appears as though they'll have the inside track to home field (given they'll have to play much better than they have thus far). Luckily, we've got the Rams on the schedule so will have the opportunity to take care of business as long as we're close in the standings.

Look for our point totals to drop significantly the rest of the way, which will place a LOT of pressure on our suspect D to keep from losing.:clap:Now is the time to show us what they got and keep the momentum rolling.:flagwave: I don't want to hear no "hotboyz" rubbish - don't tell me - SHOW me.

No, I don't think I will anticipate our ppg average to drop.

We are a big play capable offense. Meaning, when we have to score points we can and will. We have scored 30+ without breathing hard in all 3 contests. Why would an opponent with a better defense automatically translate to less points?

Dont see it happening. Maybe the Bears could make it a war of attrition contest, but I doubt that too.

I agree our D has to play better, but I'm not deathly afraid of a shootout should one be necessary.

Teddy B has a big arm and can scramble, actually think it's worse for our anemic pass rush.

ill take teddy b with our bad pass rush than brees

If you cant touch brees or pressure him hes dropping 400 and 4 tds

8 undefeated teams left in the NFL and 5 of those teams are on our remaining schedule. This is a solid schedule to prepare the Cowboys for a long run in the playoffs. No more excuses, we either at least make it to the NFCC game or someone's head has to roll. I suggest that the head belongs to the appropriate person... someone with head in their title.

Dallas will not be favored @ philly or @ chi
