Pulled from Pasquarellli's story on ESPN.com:

"They get into a rhythm," Coleman said, "and they kind of come at you in waves. Once they string a few plays together, and their confidence gets going, they get a look about them, that's like, 'You can't stop us now.' There came a time tonight, man, when we saw that look. wished to hell we hadn't."

It's great to have an explosive offense once again. I unfortunately still remember the Campo days when we couldn't put 14 points on the board. Having the explosiveness in our attack again just seems surreal.

What truly stank about the Campo days is that the defense would regularly hold the opposition below 20 points only to be beaten 17-13 or 20-14 on account of a non-existent offense.

I was watching a game the other day, don't even remember which team it was, but all I could think of watching their QB and entire offense was our Quincy Carter days when I knew there was only so much the offense could do and barring a miracle or defensive turnover, the game was lost. Don't mean to knock only the Q man, there's been a lot of QBs since Aikman that have left me with that bad taste in my mouth. It's nice to finally have an explosive offense. I just hope our defense can match it.

You must have been watching either the browns or texans.

Actually near the end of Aikman's era our offense was a like lot that. Sometimes Aikman combined with Irvin & Smith could overcome it and we'd win and be reminded about how great our team had been and these guys were the triplets. But time goes by and they get a little older but frankly it's because our OL went down hill in 97. Remember watching the Cowboy-Bears game and Bears were blitzing and hitting Aikman on every play, even the running plays. We ended up winning cause Aikman was still Aikman and got it done. Madden & Summerall were broadcasting and Madden said if the Cowboys didn't improve their OL that Aikman's career would be cut short cause no QB could continue to take those kind of hits.

We still have a barely adequate OL and I do wonder how good our offense would be if we had a good OL. Imagine Romo with plenty of time to throw cause our OL players gave him enough protection opened up the running lanes. Instead we wait til the 7th rounder to draft OL help while several OL drafted in the first round are starting/performing well for their teams.

Last season, there were seven games when Dallas scored less than 17 points.

This season, there are none at this point with only two games to go.

Imagine how great we would be doing with first round pick Drew Bledsoe in there. Man, if we could get him some snaps because clearly Romo was exposed tonight for not being able to stay in the pocket and be effective. I mean seriously, that TD throw was all TO making adjustments to the ball hitting him right in the hands!!!!! If all the Romo haters emerge from last week I have a suggestion...When eating crow use hot sauce. It will give it some flavor!

That's a very powerful quote...and it's true. Once the 'boys get rolling, I always have this feeling that they can't be stopped.

I gotta go find Lenny P's article now. See what else they say.
